No. Just no. 😑

Not all microneedling is about collagen induction! And this is where people are getting it completely wrong.

Yes, IF your goal is collagen stimulation for scars, texture, ageing etc, then you’re working to a different goal.

But a HUGE amount of my clients are NOT coming in for that! 🙅‍♀️

They’re inflamed. They’ve got compromised barriers. They’re reactive. They’re dry. They’ve got acne, rosacea, redness, and sensitivity.

Those skins do NOT need more trauma!

They need calming, barrier repair. hydration and inflammation brought DOWN, not driven up.

Microneedling should not be the same for everyone! 🙅‍♀️

Sometimes I’m using it purely for product delivery. Sometimes for skin health. Sometimes for barrier rebuilding. Sometimes for inflammation. Sometimes for regeneration WITHOUT trauma.

If I aggressively microneedle every single face until it’s red just to prove a point, I’d wreck half my clients and I'd be out of a job 🫠

Red doesn’t mean results.

What matters is you treat the skin in front of you with what it actually needs, with the right goal in mind.

Not just digging for bone just cos people on instagram said you should 🙄

And can we also stop acting like inflammation is always good?

Yes, controlled inflammation can trigger collagen. But chronic inflammation DESTROYS skin.

Most people walking into my clinic already have a lot of inflammation.

So no, I’m not trying to make everyone look like I've set their face on fire. I’m trying to FIX skin.
