🌸 We’re delighted to share that Harbourside Family Practice came 2nd in the Portishead in Bloom Business Tubs Awards this year! 🌸

Our colourful plant tubs brightened up the front and back of the practice and caught the judges’ attention and we’re so pleased to have been recognised. A huge thank you to our wonderful Liz who has been instrumental in keeping them looking so lovely. 🌿🌼

📢 Reminder: Cervical Screening Results will be received via the NHS App from this month.
If your cervical screening test result is negative, you’ll receive it directly through the NHS App. You’ll get an app message and a notification – and if it’s not read within 72 hours, a letter will still be sent as a back-up.
Abnormal results will continue to be sent by letter for now.
This change follows the successful rollout of digital invitations and reminders earlier this year, with most now sent straight to the NHS App.
💡 Tip: Please make sure you have downloaded the NHS App and turned on notifications so you don’t miss your results: www.nhs.uk/nhs-app

📢 Important Update – Local Pharmacy Closure
We have been informed that Jhoots pharmacy in Waitrose Portishead has closed with immediate effect and will no longer be dispensing prescriptions.
💊 You can use the NHS App to change your nominated pharmacy immediately.
❗ If your prescriptions were sent to this pharmacy, we will be removing them as your preferred pharmacy in due course.
We understand this may cause some disruption and we appreciate your patience while we help manage this change.
