Back pain is tricky, millions of people struggle with it and it is one of the leading causes of time off work. So how do we resolve back pain?
Generally back pain is caused by weak muscles deep within the spine and pelvis. If anyone has told you that your pelvis is "out" or you have one leg longer than another, this could be the cause of your back pain.
The "core" muscles are a group of muscles that are integral to holding your pelvis in the correct position. If these are weak, from too much sitting, it can cause the pelvis to drift out of an optimum position and this can cause pain.
To solve back pain, for the long term, you need to strengthen the muscles that are holding it in the correct position. If you need help with this, give us a call. πWe can assess your spinal position and create specific exercises to help you strengthen then.
