Day 5: Duck naming ceremony - Everyone gathered to find out whose names got pulled out of the hat. We had a toast to each one with some bubbles. We named Duck 1 after Daffy duck as this day in 1937 he first appeared in a cartoon. 🍾🍾🥂🥂

Day 4: Falling in love with our little ducklings. We have all been attentively caring for them watching their every move, topping up their water and food which they have now found and watching them grow stronger by the hour. Trying to leave them quiet to strengthen in the next few days will be tricky as everyone is desperate to give them a cuddle.

Day 3: Hatching Day. It has been a very eventful day with our ducklings hatching 2 by 2. Everyone gathered to watch as they were transferred from the incubator to the cage. Each one getting stronger by the hour. Perfect timing as the nursery children arrived to see all the action and the residents have been taking it in turns to keep watch over them.
