Are you a compassionate, outgoing individual with a passion for supporting others? We’re looking for dedicated team members to join us in providing high-quality care to adults with mental health challenges and/or mild learning disabilities.

Position: Support Worker
Hourly Rate: £12.25
Mileage: 45p per mile

As a Support Worker, your day-to-day will include:

Transporting clients to appointments and social outings

Attending fun community events and social groups

Going for coffee, meals, and shopping trips

Assisting with light admin tasks and household management (cleaning, cooking, etc.)

Encouraging and supporting clients in their daily activities

Requirements:

A passion for helping others

A valid driver’s license (driving is essential for this role)

Friendly and approachable demeanor

Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team

Due to growth we are looking for friendly and outgoing people to join our team at Your Choice Supportive Living.

It's a great position working with adults with mental health and/ or mild learning disability.

A very sociable job paying £12.25 an hour. With mileage paid at 45p per mile.

You will be doing things like taking clients to and from appointments, days out, attending social groups, going for coffee, food shopping, helping with some admin, and encouraging household chores such as cleaning and cooking.

Due to this driving is essential

Day shifts

Monday 3-10pm
Tuesday 3-10pm
Friday 7-3pm and 3-10pm
Saturday 7-3pm 3-10pm
Sunday 7-3pm & 3-10pm

Duties include:

Supporting to social groups
Supporting with house work and supporting to look after a dog and cat
Supporting client to be independent and teach life skills
Supporting with cooking and shopping
Supporting with budgeting money
Supporting to appointments
