NHS Cervical Screening Programme: all communications are now available digitally

The NHS Cervical Screening Programme has now introduced all communications digitally, which includes invitations, reminders and all results. This means quicker and more convenient access to Cervical Screening invitations and results. For those where a digital communication isn't possible, a letter will be posted as a backup, otherwise patients should be encouraged to download the NHS App and enable notifications.

Royal Manor are proud to work with local charities and businesses to support our community.

We recently partnered with Tods Technology to donate Easter Eggs to The Drop In Portland.

The Drop In is an independent Youth Service supporting the young people on the island aged 8 - 21 years (Up to 25 with SEN). They provide a safe and inclusive environment for young people to build self confidence and compassionate relationships with peers.

Founded in 2001, The Drop In Portland was established in order to provide Portland's young people an environment in which they can reach their fullest potential. What started off as a small community venue has grown into Portland's Leading Youth Provision; one that’s committed to supporting and empowering children of all backgrounds.

We really hope these young people enjoy their Easter treat!

There is no specific concern or outbreak in Dorset at this time, but the NHS is reminding people to stay aware of the signs and symptoms of meningitis and to check that they and their children are up to date with routine vaccinations.

Meningitis can be very serious, so it’s important to know what to look out for and to seek urgent medical help if symptoms appear.
