We are in THE TIMES NEWSPAPER this Saturday .

And it feels fantastic .

The article is all about our beloved Island home written by Laura Jackson whose childhood connection to the all familiar parts is lovingly shared . Laura had a granny called Doris and so did I . So we were going to get along.

It’s super interesting to view your homeland from someone else’s perspective and it truly has made us smile ( and feel immense pride) to read about the folklore of bunnies , the splendid coastline and the huge fact that Portland limestone built most of London . The dough buns ain’t too shabby either.

And a massive thank you Pip who needs some kind of huge recognition for championing Portland and Weymouth for as long as I can remember now . Thanks Pip - we salute you. Always have .

There’s a softening of the edges when you step into sauna .

Theres a big sigh out as you settle into the space, the wooden walls and floors and the body adjusts to the heat.

Gently over the rounds the shoulders drop, the jaw relaxes , the tummy softens.

It’s the body doing its thing , always working to bring you into a steady, even , beautiful state .

Always looking after you .

How brilliant is that ?

And as you relax , maybe there’s a smile .

It starts from the inside … and may end up spilling out onto your face for the whole world to see!

Kissie has been visiting The Island Sauna almost every day since the very beginning and she’s heading off to begin University.

We’re going to miss her humour, her optimism and downright good vibes .

Kissie says she has chosen her Uni for its academic credentials and how she felt when she got there ..

But we secretly know it’s because there’s a very cool nearby!
