As Christmas is fast approaching please spare a thought for our care workers.

Our team make sure that no one is alone, especially in this festive Month and they work hard to fufill the needs of others.

So, Whilst you’re opening presents a carer will be helping someone to get up, wash and dress, prepare breakfast and give medication .

Whilst your having your Christmas dinner/ tea a carer will be helping someone by making meals, taking them to the toilet or changing them and giving medication.

When your relaxing in front of the telly at night a carer will be out helping someone .............. the list goes on!

We’re making festive travel stress-free with special services from First Bus Solent and Stagecoach, so you can reach family gatherings, festive events, and essential destinations like QA Hospital.

📅 Christmas Day timetable:
• Solent from First Bus: Routes 1, 2, 3, 7, 8 (8 AM–6 PM, hourly)
• Stagecoach South: Routes 18, 20, 21, 22, 23 (6 AM–8 PM, hourly)

CupOfCare is coming this Monday, 17th November! Join The Care Workers' Charity for a special event supporting mental health in the care sector.

Care workers often put themselves—and their mental wellbeing—last. This campaign is a gentle reminder that a problem shared is a problem cared for. Whether it’s a quick chat in the staff room or a moment during the morning meeting, we encourage you to open up, seek support, or simply lighten the mental load.

You can also use the day to fundraise or donate, even if it’s just the cost of a morning coffee, helping us continue to provide mental health support for everyone who cares.

Let’s take a well-earned moment this Monday to open up, connect, and care… one cup at a time.
