What is the Crisis Grant?

The Care Workers’ Charity Crisis Grant provides financial support of up to £500 for care workers facing unexpected hardship. This could include things like a sudden loss of income, illness or injury, changes in living circumstances, or bereavement.

The grant can help cover essential costs such as daily living expenses, household items, repairs, moving costs, or preventing eviction.

👩‍⚕️ Who can apply?
You may be eligible if you:
• Work in the UK social care sector
• Have been employed for at least a few months
• Have experienced a recent change in circumstances that has impacted you financially

📝 How to apply: Applications are completed online via The Care Workers’ Charity website. You’ll need to provide supporting documents such as proof of employment, a payslip, and bank statement. Each application is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
