Box / equal breathing

At the beginning of all my sessions, we take the time to focus on ourselves. As new parents, so much time is spent hunched over feeding, rocking and entertaining our little ones. Whilst ensuring baby is safe, we do some gentle stretches and focus on our breathing:

This is a deep breathing technique that can help you feel more grounded and relaxed

🌸Sit in a comfortable position

🌸Relax your jaw and shoulders and close your eyes if that is comfortable for you

🌸Breathe in (inhale) through you nose for 4 seconds

🌸Hold for 4 seconds

🌸Exhale through your mouth slowly for 4 seconds

🌸Hold your breathe once again for 4 seconds

🌸repeat the process
