Surgical excision of large Xanthelasma under local anaesthetic. Result at day 11. Very delicate stitches are self-dissolving. Wounds are dressed with antibiotic ointment during healing.

I am often asked if the scalp needs shaving or if a bald patch will be left after removal of a scalp lesion.
This shows hair gelled back with antiseptic gel prior to surgery and immediately after wound close with absorbable stitches.

My latest Google review ( #240) mentions a tool I use for your comfort whilst numbing you for minor skin surgery.
The "buzzer" helps reduce the sensation of having a local anaesthetic injection, making the whole procedure more pleasant for you.

Laser surgery for varicose veins takes an hour or two so patients usually relax during the procedure by listening to music, watching videos or reading. This lady swore her choice of reading material was entirely coincidental! She seemed very relaxed nevertheless.

Yesterday I completed a mighty hike 27mile marathon around the Gower Peninsula Wales raising money for Macmillan.

I did this in shorts!! 😍 The first year I've had the confidence and an awesome tan! Without the treatments you did this wouldn't of been possible! Forever grateful 😁

This lady was worried about healing after I removed a 1.5 cm lesion from her face. Three days post op and she is already delighted.
She is using an antibiotic cream on the wound.
