Lemme explain it’s THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE I HAVE ACTUALLY THOUGHT THIS !!! Like really not craved a relationship , instead I am craving peace ✌🏼
Being single and older can make you think you are missing something because it’s normal or expected but some couples I don’t think even like each other - I don’t actually need a boyfriend I need a break…..
🏡I need to downsize
💪Add boundaries
Give up trying to parallel parent , co parent it’s all wasting my time & energy
🤦‍♀️Stress about my weight - I am what I am and I am healthy
💋 up my self love MASSIVELY

My heart is open and if I met someone of course I’d be open to that, men are amazing, I don’t hate them and I value them but would having on solve things for me right now no, so if you feel the pressure to have one it seems being 46 and perimenopausal makes you give less f***s so yeah to that are HRT !! 🙌💋

Sending all my love to my mum today who is going to have surgery to remove cancer and to my dad who is supporting her whilst fighting his own cancer .💪

What a fu**er cancer is ? ( sorry not sorry)

Watching your parents age is a privilege denied to many so I am aware how lucky I am to have them.
But seeing them unwell and overwhelmed with all the appointments is really hard .

Thankfully I work with legends honestly college and the people I work with have been amazing and so have all mMarlene Mironnd family as I’ve been a bit of my a game.

So today sending all that positivity and love to my mum who needs it most and to remind her to be brave and confident and strong like she taught me to be!

You’ve got this mum and we have got you !
Love you both ♥️

Right !! I’ve been a sad for a while not quite myself , overwhelmed and underwhelmed at the same time , feeling a bit hopeless and lost and meh - exhausted !
I asked the doctor is it depression ( situational lot of stuff going on) ?
Is it perimenopause ?
Is it adhd ?
They know as much as me so who knows and whilst I navigate the s**t storm knowing that like all good and bad things in life “this too will pass” I thought f**k this and before I left for work I snapped some pics of all THE THINGS I DID RIGHT BEFORE 9AM!!

Photo 2 - making some nourishing and heathy food choices today
Photo 3 - I had put a load of washing on and hung up another load
Photo 4 - my front room looks amazing and magical which even if I don’t feel it, I want my kids too
Photo 5 - secret Santa brought, wrapped and in ready for Thursday and the kids dad birthday tomorrow so I’ve brought and wrapped his gifts and suggested the kids sleep there tonight so he can wake up with them tomorrow on his birthday!! ( I know right?)

Honestly probably the best gift I’ve ever been given , 3 hours of bliss and tranquility, I went in the sauna the cold plunge the heated pool, the infra red sauna and then I laid in my complimentary robe and sipped on amazing hot chocolate reading my book and admiring the views .
This was a gift but I think it’s £60 for 3 hours and you can add on treatments and foot and little extras honestly well worth it and I think this will be a regular for me because I need and deserve it. Check out https://thefarmhousesanctuary.co.uk/ for more deets 🤍🤍

Thank you yet again for this amazing recipe I’ve tweaked it a bit and added orange and cinnamon too but honestly if you have a cold, cough or flu like symptoms you NEED THIS !

Ok I may have just done a thing!!
You may or may not know that my Dad (papa bear) is living with stage 4 prostate cancer and is having to live with side effects of this disease and the treatments he has had and has to have every day making his life much harder. And I have wanted to do something to help@as often I feel powerless ,now I can’t run or bake that well but I am brave and fiery so this feels like the perfect challenge for me and rowans are a charity that help the families as well as the individual living with life limiting diseases like cancer so if you can spare the price of a coffee then I will gratefully receive it on behalf of Rowans Hospice and my target is £222 which is an angel number iykyk
