When you’re feeling stressed, it can be tempting to dwell on your problems and let them consume your thoughts.

But this is actually one of the worst things you can do, because it only makes the stress worse.

The best way to deal with stress is to choose one thought over another.

Don't let your brain follow up with the pattern of stressful thoughts and actions.

Swipe the intrusive thoughts and choose different ones.

When people are stressed, it can often show in their emotions and how they behave.

However, because stress shuts down your immune system and recovery, it can also have physical symptoms.

These can include anything from a headache or a stomachache to problems sleeping or feeling tired all the time.

It's important to be aware of these physical symptoms because they can be an indication that you're under too much stress.

If you're feeling stressed, there are a number of things you can do to help yourself feel better.

You can try exercise, relaxation techniques, or simply talking to someone about what's worrying you.

Remember, it's important to find a way to manage your stress so that it doesn't have a negative impact on your health.

We all know that stress isn’t good for us. It can cause all sorts of health problems, from headaches and stomachaches to high blood pressure.

But what most people don’t know is that there are things we can do to deal with stressful situations.

The 4 A's are like the rules of thumb for stress management, they go like this:

First A - Avoid unnecessary stress.

Second A - Alter stressful situations (see from the positive perspective)

Third A - Adapt to the stressor (reframe it in your mind)

Fourth A - Accept the stressful things you can't change (forgive, forget and learn)

A better way to deal with stress is to acknowledge your feelings and find healthy ways to cope with them.

There are many different types of stress. It's no secret that stress can take a toll on our physical and emotional health.

What's less well known is that there are many different ways to deal with stress, and some are more effective than others.

Some people try to ignore or suppress their feelings, while others lash out at the people around them.

Meditation, good sleep, exercise, good nutrition, socialising, going in nature, reading, listening to music... The list goes on!

When we bring awareness to the moment, we are fully present in the here and now.

This can be a powerful tool for living a more fulfilling life and managing stress.

By being aware of each moment, we can appreciate the little things that often go unnoticed.

When we are living in the moment, we are less likely to get wrapped up in negative thoughts.

Ask yourself these questions and stay present! Don't let the past take over.

All animals, including humans, have a stress response that helps them adapt to dangerous or challenging situations.

The stress response is a combination of physical and emotional changes that help the body prepare for “fight or flight.”

The physical changes include an increase in heart rate, blood pressure, and energy production.

The emotional changes include an increase in anxiety and vigilance.

Ultimately, if you manage to adapt, the same stressor in your life will simply not have the same effect on your mental and physical state anymore.

The Eisenhower Matrix is a time management tool that can help you organize and prioritize your tasks.

It was developed by Dwight D. Eisenhower, the 34th President of the United States.

The matrix has four quadrants, which are: urgent and important, not urgent but important, urgent but not important, and not urgent and not important.

To use the Eisenhower Matrix, you first need to identify your tasks.

Then, you can classify them into one of the four quadrants.

Once you have classified your tasks, you can prioritise them according to their urgency and importance.

The Eisenhower Matrix can be a useful tool for time management, as it can help you prioritize your tasks and ensure that you are spending your time on the most important things.

Most of all, though, it can help you manage stress!
