THE QUEEN.

Yesterday we lost Our Queen to the heavens,
She had a good, long, proud 70 year Reign and decided it was time to be back with her love.

This creates a lot of emotion for a lot of people for a lot of different reasons,
And all are Absolutly valid, some have expressed deep sadness, others have felt anger at the sadness!

I'm not particularly a royalist however I do have respect and honour, it feels weird now to not have a Queen, I have only ever known the monarch to have a Queen my mum has only ever known a Queen and now we have a king.

It's a monumental time, one that will feel heavy and possibly uneasy for a while I think.

Part of me feels sad that we have lost our leading lady but part of me feels relief that she can now be at peace.

All I do know is that whatever your feeling one thing is for certain the Monarch will never be the same...

Rest Peacefully now Elizabeth and May your legacy live on!

SEPTEMBER.

Who else loves September??

I love it I always have, maybe it's the memories of buying new school shoes and stationary or maybe it's the start of Autumn and conker collecting with my boys but whatever it is there is nothing I love more then the crisp mornings when you can wrap up but still wear those sunglasses, or the cozy autumn nights when you can drink a big glass of red wine whilst snuggled under a blanket (and everyone knows all the best series start in sept)

SORRY I CANT TAKE YOUR CALL RIGHT NOW….

Do you ever feel like you are glued to your phone.

As the majority of my work is generated through my phone wether that be via socials, websites or emails I do sometimes feel like I never put it down.
So I recently took a break from my social networks as I found they were dominating my free time.

I’ve come back and have decided to have a very different relationship with my social platforms!
They are a fantastic business tool and a great way to keep in touch and the best thing is they are free!!

Free advertising!!

When I started my career a whopping 20 years ago ( I know i don’t look old enough 🙈) free advertisement was unheard of.
But now it’s everywhere and at the tip of our fingers but because of a result of that we have all become so accessible and as a small business owner you want to reply to messages and enquiries whenever you can but unfortunately that has led to replying at all hours and giving the impression I am a 24/7 shop.
I am not I am also a mum, a wife and a human.
So as much a i love what I do and get excited every time I get an order or an enquiry I have to set some work boundaries…

So here I am doing just that…
I will reply Monday-Friday 9-3 and if you don’t hear from me just know you custom is soooo valued I haven’t forgot you I’m just working my way through my very busy list….

THE LILY..

I think I say this EVERY time I create a new masterpiece but this was a fave of mine.
My client who this was for had a very specific brief and she was a complete dream to work with and to create for.
We encountered a few tweaks here and there but that comes hand in hand with making a bespoke unit,
Needless to say she was IN LOVE with the final product.

It’s so fun playing with different looks and I would have never said I’d like to be a brunette but with the unit my arm could most definitely be twisted.
That’s the best thing for me about wearing wigs is that you can change you hair whenever you want with no damage or commitment.

The Lilly is made of high grade Remy virgin hair,
22 inch,
lace 5x5 closure,
all custom coloured and cut by myself.
She can be worn parted anywhere across the front, washed and heat styled.

SPRING WEDDINGS…

As a company I have had lots of orders lately for future weddings wether that be guests attending or brides themselves.

It’s such a wonderful feeling to be trusted by you lovely customers for such an important day.

And some customers are buying wigs because of hair loss but others are buying purely for a nice change.
And it feels great to be able to offer our services to such a wide range of people.

It’s funny how each day can be so different in every way isn’t it?
Yesterday I was so moody and had a neggy feeling but today there was a shift and I feel like really exciting things are coming in a number of different ways…
I feel like I have trust in Ms Universe again.

SPRING?!

So apparently it’s spring?!

I feel like it’s colder then it has been all winter and I’m so eager to rush this season and get to spring and I was thinking that’s how my last year has felt.
I’ve been constantly wanting to get to the next step, seeing more friends, saying yes to everything, taking on more work, booking the kids into everything possible, because we can
And all of a sudden it’s March and nearly spring (which I’m grateful for) however sometimes we are just forced to stop and look around and what I’ve realised In amongst all the pressure of “getting back to normal” is I’ve lost 6 months of cozy film nights and lazy dark mornings so Just until the evenings get lighter and the mornings get warmer I’m going to make the most of our morning cuddles and cosy pj nights …..
