A birthday wish came true for devoted 105-year-old Pompey fan Joan Geary who was able to make the trip to Fratton Park to watch her team play - and win - one more time.

Today was a truly special day for Joan 💙 Joan’s wish for her 105th birthday is to watch a match one last time! For a long time, Joan believed she would never be able to come and watch Pompey again due to her physical health and no longer being able to walk. But thanks to the incredible support from Pompey in the Community, with just one phone call from the Home Manager, they made what Joan thought was impossible made possible.
Joan had a lovely time, enjoyed every moment, and to top it all off, Pompey won 3–0! ⚽️💙 She was absolutely over the moon and so happy to be back watching the team she loves.
A huge thank you to Anar at Accessible Taxi Service for providing the transport and helping make the day possible, and a very special thank you to our activity coordinator Christine for accompanying Joan and making sure she had such a wonderful experience throughout the day.
A day full of smiles, memories, and gratitude 💙 Play up Pompey ! And yes ! We tried to make her wish come true… and we did💪 #3-0

Today our residents enjoyed a lovely afternoon of singing along to favourite songs, followed by engaging group activities such as Scrabble. It was wonderful to see everyone so involved and enjoying each other’s company. ❤️

Today was a beautiful day for our residents 💐
The morning was spent enjoying arts and crafts and meaningful one-to-one time, making sure everyone felt included.
We ended the day with a fantastic sing-along by the wonderful The Annie Jo Vocal Show lots of smiles and happy memories 🎶😊

Our residents would be over the moon to receive Valentine’s cards from across the UK. Each card helps reduce loneliness and reminds them they’re loved and thought of.

Happy 87th Birthday to our lovely resident, Maureen! 🎉🎂 Her day was made extra special when her daughter surprised her with a beautiful bunch of flowers. A truly lovely celebration filled with love and smiles ❤️
