A few weeks ago, our team at Laly’s Pharmacy came together to say: “I should feel safe where I work.”

Sadly, recent findings from the National Pharmacy Association show just how real this issue is for pharmacy teams everywhere:
🔹 9 in 10 pharmacies have seen a rise in shoplifting in the past year.
🔹 87% have faced more aggression or intimidation.
🔹 1 in 5 have even experienced physical assault.

Pharmacies are not just shops. We’re part of the NHS frontline, providing medicines, advice, and care to our communities.

We’re proud of our staff for raising their voices, and we stand with pharmacy teams across the country calling for safety, respect, and protection at work.
