The Drayton Centre is hosting a Christmas Dinner for elderly in the area who would of been alone this Christmas. We have provided a present for each of the 45 guests attending and the 15 volunteers giving their time. We hope they all have a very Merry Christmas.

We celebrated a fabulous 100th Birthday here at Alexandra Rose with another amazing cake. We put a call out through social media for cards to attempt to get 100 and got over 400 with one even from Australia!

The residents of the Alexandra Rose have been keeping busy these past 12 months creating knitted shapes and squares for the annual ‘Yarn Bomb’
The homes back garden has been brightened up with multi-coloured bunting around the fences and railings, as well as pompoms and knitted squares which have been decorated around the tree.
Thank you to all of you that have donated wool – this has help keep our residents busy, focusing on this wonderful Yarn Bomb Creation!
