Feedback like this truly means the world to us ๐Ÿ’™
Sue kindly took the time to share her experience with Mobility at Sea, and we wanted to share her words in full:

โ€œDear Alison
After your latest help, which was beyond the call of duty, prompting our need to complete paperwork to enable our family with two disabled young ladies to secure a cruise, I am writing to say how much I have appreciated you and Mobility at Sea since my first contact with you 5 years ago. You have always answered my requests personally or if unable to have always emailed or phoned back. You have always listened to our needs and come up with appropriate suggestions and managed to answer all my questions about equipment, or aspects of a cruise we may not have thought about. Having actually met you by chance at the Southampton Boat Show last September it was a delight to chat with you for over an hour and to put a face to your name!! Thank you for taking the trouble to allow me to think I have a source of support when I try to make life a little more manageable for my amazing family.

Warmly,
Sue Yโ€

Thank you, Sue, for trusting us to support you and your family over the years. ๐Ÿ’™

Cruising from the UK often starts in either Southampton or Portsmouth - and while both ports are accessible, they feel very different on embarkation day.

In our latest blog, we explain what to expect at each port, how they compare in practice, and how planning ahead can make the start of your cruise calmer and more comfortable.

Cruising with mobility needs is absolutely possible, but a few things are worth knowing before you travel. Ports don't all operate the same way, accessible cabins are limited and vary by ship, and cruise ships often involve more walking than people expect.

Understanding these basics early helps set realistic expectations and makes planning a cruise feel far more straightforward.
