Today we said farewell and happy retirement to Dave Porter
Dave has been with Pathways for 7 years but in LD services in Portsmouth for many more.
Dave has an unwavering belief and dedication for the people he has supported over the years. Dave has always stood up for what is right and has fought plenty of battles for his service users.
We will miss you Dave and we hope you pop on to visit us from time to time. 💜

🌟RECRUITING 🌟
Pathways are currently recruiting for full and part time staff to work across our services in Portsmouth.
Experience in working with adults with disabilities is not essential for this role as full training will be given.
Driving is not essential.
Competitive rates of pay and bonus scheme available.
Shifts are on a rota basis.
Full time staff work 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis.
Part time staff work 16-30 hours per week and also include weekends on a rota basis.
Unfortunately we cannot cater to school only hours.
Please note a full DBS will be applied for.
We do not offer sponsorship.
All potential candidates will be asked to undertake a math and English assessment as part of the interview process.

Hi Facebook friends.
We are setting up a new flat for two wonderful young people who are living independently for the first time.
We are looking for the following donations if anyone can help?
- TV
- small dining table and chairs
- lounge tables/sideboards
- hoover
- microwave
- kettle
- toaster
- crockery/cutlery/kitchen utensils
- throws/cushions/decor for lounge
- pots/pans
- a starter food hamper with the basics, tea bags/coffee/buscuits/tins and packets.
If you have anything not on the list please get in touch because I’m sure they would be very grateful for whatever you can offer.
We can arrange collection.

Very sad today today saying farewell to a service user who has been a part of the Pathways family for many many years. It’s never easy to say goodbye, most of our service users stay with us forever but sometimes environmental factors come into play and people have to move on. This special man is so loved by us all and accepting that we could no longer support him was just heartbreaking, but we know he will be taken good care of by his new team who will quickly be won over by him.
Our service users are family and they mean so much to us.
We’ve had tears and lots of laughs today and we’ve been reminded how very lucky we are to have been a part of the most beautiful man’s life. We can’t wait to hear about his new adventures and we’re already looking forward to visiting 💜💜💜 Rachael Ferguson

Happy birthday to our purple queen Susan Goodbrand
The person that inspires us to keep going, reminds us why our job is so important, does everything she can to improve the lives of the people we support, won’t take no for an answer and refuses to accept nothing but the best possible outcome in any situation.
Sue continues to teach us that the people we support are not ‘services’ or ‘clients’ they are PEOPLE with rights, needs and wishes and this is the ethos she instills in all of us.
From the whole of the Pathways team we wish you a wonderful, witchy birthday and hope all of your dreams come true 💜
