Day 2 of the Bake Sale!💜

We have decided to run the bake sale for a second day due to having so many lovely food donations still available to be sold!

The bake sale is being held inside our office due to the weather being a bit unpredictable today. Please come on in and buy some sweet treats, all going to a great cause!🧁🥐

Join Us for a Special Bake Sale in Support of 1 of our carers and the Stroke Association💜

Wednesday 16th July at our office located at: 188 Copnor Rd, PO3 5DA

All proceeds will go directly to the Stroke Association, who are helping one of our carers through their journey.

We’ll have a delicious spread of treats on offer, including some favourites from last year like cheese twists and cheese & bacon turnovers—plus many more goodies!

I have attached a 'Menu', this is donations that have currently been offered by staff and members of the public to go towards the bake sale, and we are so grateful for all of the love and support so far! If you see something that tickles your fancy, come down to have a try!

We’d love for you to stop by, grab a treat (or two!), and show your support. Every bite will go toward helping a beautiful person we care so much about, and supporting a cause that’s now very close to all our hearts. 💜

Update on Fundraisers and donations!

So far we have raised:
🧁 £97.10 during our first bake sale back in May for the Stroke Association!
🍞 £300 during our second bake sale back in June for Action Cerebral Palsy!
🪂 £1110 so far from 2 members of staff doing a skydive for MacMillan at the beginning of this month!

Bringing our current total raised this year for our 30th anniversary to £1507.10!

Today marks 3 decades of providing care to the people of Portsmouth, and what a 30 years it has been! From starting as a dream in a front room with an advert in the yellow pages, to being an established, accredited family ran care agency rated 'Good' by CQC!

It has been our pleasure to care for all of our clients; past, present and future. Alongside working with a hardworking, compassionate, dedicated team of carers! To anyone that has worked for us over these 30 years, Thank you. And to all of the clients we have cared for, Thank you. We wouldn't be able to do what we do without everyone, including the support from the families of our staff and clients.

To celebrate our 30th year, we are running several fundraisers for various charities close to our hearts throughout 2024. If you would like to celebrate with us, keep an eye on our page as we'll be posting about upcoming events! Here's to another 30 years of providing care, and supporting individuals to have the best quality of life possible whilst remaining in their own home!🎉

MS Society in partnership with MS Together, the MS Trust, MS-UK, the Neuro Therapy Network (formally MS Therapy Centres), Shift.ms and Overcoming MS, will be launching MS Unfiltered. A sensitive and intimate campaign which will shine a light on the MS topics that can feel taboo or difficult to talk about. They have created a safe space for people to talk honestly and openly about everything from bladder control and sexual dysfunction, to navigating menopause and cultural stigma.
