We all know that drinking water is good for us, but do you know how it can help your spinal health?

As we go about our day we put pressure on the spine and the discs that lie between each vertebra through sitting, standing and walking.

If our spine is not properly hydrated we can experience back pain, limited mobility, reduced flexibility and risk of back injury.

Jazz up your water by infusing it with mint or lemon. Opt for herbal tea over caffeinated drinks.

Eating watermelon is also a great way to increase your water intake.

Never been to a chiropractor before?

New to Active Health Chiropractic Clinic?

Want to know what you can expect from your first visit?

Once you’ve contacted us, you’ll be booked in for an ‘Initial Consultation’. This appointment will take approximately 40 minutes.

Your doctor of chiropractic will take your full history, carry out a thorough spinal examination including orthopaedic and neurological tests and at that point X-Rays will be taken if deemed necessary.

Our doctors of chiropractic leave no stone unturned as they treat the whole person rather than just the area of pain or discomfort.

Following the Initial Consultation you are invited back for your Report of Findings appointment. This appointment will be approximately 30 minutes. Your chiropractor will take you through their report, your x-rays if any were taken, diagnosis and a treatment plan for you. They will inform you of what to expect from a chiropractic treatment. If you are happy then treatment will commence.
