The team cover care in Havant, Bedhampton, Denvilles, Emsworth, Langstone and Warblington, and we will work with you to create a bespoke support plan that suits you. Huseyin, a dedicated member of our Live-in Care Team, shared what a day in his role looks like - a true example of compassionate, person-centred care.

“My day is structured around the needs, preferences, and routines of each individual I care for.”

Person-centred care means putting the individual at the heart of everything we do - respecting their choices, routines, and values. It’s about supporting people to live well, with independence in the comfort of their own homes.

"My role involves various aspects, such as personal care, medication management, meal preparation, companionship, household tasks, communication, and any specialised care that I provide."

At Helping Hands, we love celebrating the incredible people who make a real difference every day. Today, we’re proud to share Adyanna’s story - one of passion, purpose, and a genuine commitment to person-centered care.

“Growing up, care was always part of my world. My Nana was a carer for the council, and my mum has worked in care for over a decade. Watching their dedication left a lasting impression on me. I started working in care just before turning 17, alongside my mum while still in college, and I haven’t looked back since.”

Adyanna joined Helping Hands in March 2024 at just 19 years old and has been making an incredible impact ever since.

“What I enjoy most is getting to know each client’s routine and personal preferences. There’s something incredibly meaningful about being able to brighten someone’s day - even more so knowing that we might be the only friendly face they see. That motivates me to always deliver the highest standard of person-centered care. Helping Hands is a fantastic company for people who genuinely care about making a difference and creating positive moments in others’ lives.”

Fostering a culture of inclusion, engagement, and wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do, and this week, our Support Office team brought that spirit to life with one of our wellbeing walks around Alcester.

This activity is an important part of helping our team stay connected, support one another, and reinforce the community spirit at the heart of everything we do.

It was a lovely moment to step away from our desks, enjoy the fresh air, chat with colleagues, and spend a moment in the heart of the community we’re proud to serve 💜
