🎓 Heading to uni soon? Don’t forget your MenACWY vaccine! 💉

University life is full of new experiences - but it also means mixing with lots of new people, which increases your risk of meningitis. The MenACWY vaccine protects against four types of meningococcal bacteria that can cause serious illness.

✅ It’s free ✅ It’s quick ✅ It could save your life

If you’re aged 17 to 25 and starting university this year, contact us to make sure you’ve had it. Protect yourself and your mates - meningitis doesn’t wait.

📅 Book your appointment today and start uni with peace of mind.

You may have heard on the news that GPs can now prescribe Mounjaro for weight loss, however this is not a service that is currently being offered in Hampshire and Isle of Wight. For more information about this, please see the NHS website below.

In Hampshire and the Isle of Wight and across the NHS there is different help available depending on the level of support you require to help you in your weight loss journey.

There is a current email scam that some patients may think has come from the NHS. If you receive a message like the picture below, please do not click any of the links as this will leave you vulnerable to being hacked. The only way to change GP surgeries is to register with your new surgery which then triggers the move through our clinical system.

Our Green Social Prescribing Gardening Club are working hard to prepare the front patch of garden in time to get some lovely plants in for summer 💐🌸🌻

A fantastic job by our gardening club members! 🌱 Today, we cleared weeds and moved plants to prepare the space ready for our new raised beds, kindly being made by the Men’s Shed.

If you would like to learn more about Social Prescribing and how we can support you, email hiowicb-p.portsmouthnorthpcn@nhs.net or ask the Reception Team at your usual surgery to refer you.

*Please note the email address provided is for Kirklands Surgery and The Drayton Surgery patients only.
