Getting back to running after a hamstring injury? 🏃‍♂️

These are some of the key exercises we use to rebuild strength, improve control, and prepare the hamstrings for the demands of running again. Progressing the right exercises at the right time can make a huge difference in reducing re-injury risk and getting you back to doing what you love.

Pulled your hamstring? Don’t ignore it 👇

A hamstring strain is one of the most common muscle injuries — especially in runners, footballers, and anyone who sprints, changes direction, or accelerates quickly.

It can happen suddenly (that sharp grab at the back of your thigh 😖) or build up over time with tightness and fatigue.

Common signs include:
⚠️ Sudden sharp pain in the back of the thigh
⚠️ Tightness or cramping
⚠️ Swelling or bruising
⚠️ Pain when bending the knee or stretching
⚠️ Weakness when pushing off

The key? Proper rehab. Rushing back too soon is one of the biggest reasons hamstring injuries reoccur.
