Something new is coming to The Hormone Hub 🌸

🌸 As I deepen my training in pelvic floor health, I’m expanding the way I support women.

👉🏻 Nutrition, testing and hormone education are powerful… But understanding the structural, hormonal and nervous system layers of the body is equally as important.

🌸 Your pelvic floor, hormones and nervous system are constantly communicating. When we understand how they function together, symptoms make more sense and support becomes more effective.

🌸 This next layer will be integrated into my 1:1 client programs, and I’ll also be creating ways for you to access this support outside of personalised coaching programs.

🌸 If you want to understand your body on a deeper, more connected level, I’d love you inside my community.

✨ Join via the link in my bio & sign up to be the first to hear how I’ll be teaching this and how you can access this new area of support ✨

I’m stepping into full picture women’s health 👏🏼🤍 because that’s what you deserve.

How much do you already know about your pelvic floor health?

🌸 I’m a 40-year-old woman, a mum to three girls, and someone who knows first-hand how disruptive hormone chaos can feel.

After my hysterectomy in 2024, I didn’t just read about hormonal imbalance, I lived it.

The shifts in my moods and my energy, feeling inflamed, struggling with anxiety, and experiencing constant fatigue were symptoms that were impossible to ignore.

What changed everything for me was qualifying as a women’s hormone health coach. Working on myself hasn’t meant extreme protocols or perfection, It has been taking my power back through simple, intentional changes that supported my body instead of fighting it.

I’ve implemented:

✨ Supporting my hormonal systems rather than forcing results

✨ Reducing inflammation at the root

✨ Regulating blood sugar to stabilise energy and mood

✨ Calming and regulating my nervous system

✨ Prioritizing my health, my mind, and my long-term wellbeing

These changes aren’t restrict my life, they are complimenting it.

And the results continue to compound quietly over time 🌸

🫶🏼 This is exactly how I now work with women.

❌ I don’t use one-size-fits-all plans.

✅ I guide you based on your symptoms, your body, your lifestyle, and your needs, using a simple, supportive process that helps your body feel safe enough to regulate again.

👉🏻 If you’re feeling overwhelmed, confused, or stuck in hormone survival mode, you don’t have to do this alone.

✨ You can join my mailing list for free tips, education, and gentle guidance straight to your inbox - link in bio 💌

✨ Or you can book a clarity call with me - A clarity call is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation where we talk through your symptoms, what’s going on beneath the surface, and whether working together feels like the right next step for you.

💌 You can find the clarity call booking link in my bio too

I help women understand what that means, and
why their symptoms are happening in the first place.

That means looking beyond the label and exploring things like:

• Blood sugar and insulin signaling
• Ovulation and progesterone patterns
• Estrogen metabolism and clearance
• Stress load and nervous system input
• How these systems are communicating with each other

PCOS is rarely an isolated ovarian issue.
It’s a condition of dysregulated signaling that begins with insulin resistance.

My role is to help you make sense of that, using education, personalised support, and root-cause strategies so your body can respond more appropriately.

If you’ve been managing symptoms but never given a clear explanation, this is the work I do.

✨ Welcome to the part of Instagram where hormones actually get explained ✨

I’m Katie 👋🏻

I’m a registered midwife by background, I run a successful anti-aging clinic, and I’m hormone obsessed 🫶🏼

As a Hormone Health Practitioner, I’m here to help you understand what your body’s been trying to tell you and how you can work towards calming any debilitating symptoms & achieving balance & inner wellness 🌸

I myself have lived through hormone hell which led to a diagnosis of adenomyosis and not long after, a hysterectomy 🥹

However, there was so much I didn’t know at the time, (as this was before I trained as a women’s health specialist) I didn’t know about how I could support my hormones to reduce the awful symptoms I was having, such as heavy bleeding, awful pain, fatigue and weight changes. This was never spoken about to me.. not once.

No talk of functional whole body support - only medical solutions & medication 🏥😔

I can’t undo what’s been done, and I do have regrets, but I continue to work through my own hormone journey (as I kept my ovaries so I still ovulate, I just don’t have a cycle 🩸)

My passion is to help women like you debunk what symptoms mean, look for the root cause of unwanted symptoms & support you with research backed protocols that support your body and health 🤍 so you don’t have regrets and so you can make informed choices.

I work with women to give them the confidence to navigate the health care system, know what tests to ask for and when, I also educate on what symptoms are normal and what’s not normal - the things we should have been taught a long time ago 😢

This space = education, empowerment, and a lot of “ohhh THAT makes sense” 💡

Im here to help you with your journey, if you aren’t sure where to start, book a *FREE clarity call (links are in my bio) and we can connect and begin discussing your symptoms in more depth.

*Clarity calls are free until end of February 2026 🫶🏼😍

New here?

Say hi 👋🏼 and tell me what symptom led you down the hormone rabbit hole 🐇

🚩 8 red flags of period health every woman should know

Your cycle is one of the clearest windows into your overall health, not something you’re meant to dread, push through, or normalise suffering around.

Heavy bleeding, severe cramps, acne, bloating, irregular or late periods… these aren’t “just hormones” or things you should accept because you’re busy, stressed, or getting older.

They’re signals 🚨

When you understand what your symptoms are telling you, you stop guessing, stop blaming your body, and start supporting it properly.

✨ Periods don’t have to be debilitating

✨ Struggling isn’t a requirement for being a woman.

I help women decode their cycle, understand what their symptoms actually mean, and support hormone balance at the root, not just manage surface-level issues.

📥Save this

💌Share it with someone who needs to hear it

And remember: awareness is the first step to change 🤍

I am offering FREE clarity calls until the end of February to help you discuss your symptoms in a safe and supported space 🤍

Times are changing ✨

📣 A UK petition calling for up to 3 days of paid menstrual leave for those living with endometriosis and adenomyosis has officially passed 100,000 signatures, meaning it will now be considered for debate in Parliament.

This matters, because these are not “bad periods.”
They are debilitating, life-impacting conditions that people have been expected to silently push through for far too long.

Recognition is progress 🙌🏼

Conversation is progress 🙌🏼

And this feels like a step towards finally being heard 🤍

As many of you know I had a hysterectomy because of adenomyosis and I can say with certainty that living with a condition like this is debilitating. It’s not only painful, it’s tiring, it’s mentally and physically exhausting.

I am so happy things are moving in the right direction, despite knowing this should have moved that way a long time ago.

I will keep looking out for updates regarding this to share 🤍

👉🏻 Do you, or someone close to you, live with endometriosis or adenomyosis?

I’d love to hear how changes like this could make a difference for you.. for me when I wasn’t self employed, this would have allowed me to feel like I was heard and understood so much better during those peak days!

This free guide is my best one yet 🤍

It’s aimed at supporting high functioning, high achieving women who are most likely in burn out and struggling with unwanted symptoms like:

- Bloating
- Debilitating PMS
- Fatigue and low energy levels
- Irregular or / and painful periods
- Weight gain that’s hard to shift
- Constant cravings

It’s highly likely you are surviving on cortisol (and caffeine) but the truth is this isn’t a combination that will support you long term.

Long term you may find symptoms worsen or even become serious health issues.

I wanted to create a guide that could be utilized and applied from day 1. Something you can use to begin understanding your hormones and how they work so you can start your journey to hormone education in a simplified way.

This guide has more than that though. It also includes:

- A gentle self assessment / check in
- Self care check list
- The key hormones that we need to support & why
- How to begin finding balance
- Daily rituals
- Weekly goals & monthly review

Download yours today for free & begin your hormone reset today 🤍

My mission is to help educate women on hormone health and offer as much support as I can both online and in person.

Creating freebies is my way of giving back and supporting you with small easy ways to implement change without overhauling your life ✨

For questions or for more personalised support DM or visit my website www.thehormonehub.org.uk (links in bio)

I hope this guide hits your inbox soon 📧

Keep listening to your body & keep learning about your hormones as it’s the best thing you will ever do,

Women don’t need more sleep because we’re “tired”
We need it because of biology 😴

Across the menstrual cycle, shifts in estrogen, progesterone and cortisol change how our brains regulate temperature, glucose, mood, and recovery.

🩸After ovulation, rising progesterone increases core body temperature and lightens sleep, meaning the body must work harder just to function normally.

🫩 When sleep is disrupted, women are more vulnerable to blood sugar swings the next day.. showing up as stronger cravings, low mood, brain fog and afternoon energy crashes.

🛏️ This is why consistency matters more than perfection.

🫶🏼 Small, steady habits (a slightly earlier bedtime, a darker room, and a simple wind-down routine) can meaningfully support hormone balance, metabolic health and daily energy.

More rest isn’t laziness.. it’s physiology ✅

If you want to understand your cycle better and learn how to work with your hormones instead of against them, this is the kind of science-led support I share in my work with women.

I focus on your whole history & symptoms and work with you step by step to show you how you can improve your hormone health in small, simple, manageable ways, so you can build up to a more holistic mind, body and hormone connection 🧘🏼‍♀️

✨ Pelvic floor health is so much more than most women realise.

It’s not just about pregnancy, childbirth, or doing Kegels.

Stress, hormones, posture, breathing, and even how we move our bodies day-to-day can all play a role in pelvic floor tension, even if you’ve never given birth.

And a “strong” pelvic floor isn’t always better; balance and function matter most.

As a midwife, I’ve spent years supporting women with pelvic floor education.

Now, as a women’s health practitioner, I’m investing further into advanced training in 𝗽𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗰 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

By the end of February, I’ll be qualified to support women even more comprehensively, not just for pelvic health, but as part of overall hormone and wellness care.

💛 Stay tuned for information, guidance, and ways I can help you to support your pelvic floor the right way – because whilst kegels are so important, a more holistic approach is needed to support your pelvic health.

Did you know up to 70% of women with PCOS are undiagnosed?

PCOS affects 1 in 10 women and is the leading cause of anovulatory infertility — meaning ovulation doesn’t happen regularly or at all.

Most women aren’t supported early enough, which is why many only find out when fertility becomes a struggle.

The truth? Early, evidence-based support- including diet, lifestyle, and hormone optimisation, can make a huge difference.

The NHS often offers medications or fertility treatments to manage symptoms, but these don’t always address the root cause.

You deserve more than symptom control.

✨ If this resonates, book a discovery call to explore personalised, evidence-based support for your hormone health and fertility.
