Grateful for the opportunity to keep teaching wherever we go (together with my children sometimes:)) and for wonderful people I meet through yoga 🤗!

Approximately every two years we move a house 💆‍♀️🥳 and I don’t usually know whether I can keep teaching classes in person at a new location. Every class feels like a gift and a miracle 🙏.

P.S. Mira helps me with head massages for students 🥹 and after the class sometimes asks me to do savasana for her too 🫶🏻.

Always beyond grateful that students trust me their parents 🤗🙏 .
It is forever inspiring to see people in theirs 50+ regularly practicing yoga/being physically active. They look/feel like they are made from a different matter. Their smiles and eyes are full of light and they remind me about “the why” ❤️.

The sweetest and simultaneously spine-chilling test for me as a yoga teacher & a person was teaching classes to military students 🥶😅.
The task was to help people to recover during a physically demanding week.
The challenge:
- every week I get a fresh group (as they do that program only for a week), most of them are beginners in yoga.
- I have to connect with the group quickly and based on the answers compose a variation of a sequence that I had in mind.
- I won’t have a second chance :).
- many people don’t stretch often but are physically capable. The sequence can’t be too soft/gentle/boring or too complicated/demanding.

After the first class I thought I’ll never teach it again 😬. It was a disaster (it wasn’t too bad and people enjoyed it but in my eyes it was a total fiasco 🤦🏻‍♀️). However, the best thing I did, and I will be forever grateful to myself for this 😄, was that I spoke to my manager about how I felt about my performance and about all my worries. I got a full 100% support from him and green light to try again next week. Which was, of course, a different experience. Every week I was improving the class with a big help from the team & it was the first time since my self-employed life when I wasn’t on my own with the task 🙏.

Communication and support/call for help are definitely the muscle that this class helped me to develop.

Beautiful class last week 🙏

Mira, the Yamaste princess keeps adding her wild vibes to the party 😁. She also calls herself a Master Yoga:)). This age is beautiful, she comes up with endless funny and wise stories… I’ll try to remember a touch of her little palm, cute bear hugs and her bossiness for as long as possible 🫶🏻.

2017-2024 is a period when I pulled myself in many directions and made many areas in my life challenging and progress in those areas slow.

I always wanted to have kids and I am lucky to be a mum/a friend to my beautiful children ❤️ but I had no idea that It DOES take a village to raise a child 🙌.

Due to my husband’s work travels we changed 4 towns and two countries since Alex, my oldest, was born in 2018. My family lives in Russia, my husband’s family lives in Canada (we had maybe 4 dates in total in these last 5 years 🙈).

I am grateful for all friends, neighbors, child minders and even school assistants who were/are there for me and my children when I needed a hug and a serious help the most 🙏!

Teaching yoga is my passion, every class is like a magic pill. I love seeing happy smiles at the end of the class. It brings me more happiness than thoughts about “let’s create a product and sell it online…”, although, again, I know people who do both.
I AM GRATEFUL for everyone who came to my class (in person and online) and reminded me that this is what I want to do for a living for the rest of my life (it does sound a bit dramatic 😅, I know).

To be honest when it comes to dreams and goals, I want everything right NOW, just like my 3 years old daughter 🙈.
Nature, on the other hand, always reminds me that every stage of any cycle of life is important, and skipping the “boring part” steals all the sweetness.

What can I say 🙌,
teaching yoga classes in my living room to beautiful people was very special 🙏❤️!
THANK YOU everyone who trusted me and let me share with you my knowledge.

Thank you, Lance for not minding us having almost no furniture in this room for this whole year 😂.

Today was the last class (without kids at least). School Summer holidays are starting next week 😅.

Will keep in my heart all the love and magic that was in the room for as long as I can ✨!
