Yesterday residents enjoyed an energetic exercise session full of enthusiasm. Today, we had a Music for health session 🎶 followed by a relaxing afternoon, we made the most of the sunshine in the garden- chatting, laughing and enjoying each other’s company. ☀️✨

Today we had a lovely outing with a few of our residents to Milton Park Cafe for some warming drinks & sweet treats,😋 and then for a walk around the park where we met some lovely people with a few friendly dogs, which made the day even more special 🩵🐾

We had a lovely afternoon today with a fantastic live singer Charlotte entertaining our residents 🎶 there were plenty of smiles, singing along, and lots of enjoyment all around🩵

Yesterday was a day filled with music, movement & fun🎶🥁🎸

In the morning we had a session from Tracy at Craft & Beats where the residents enjoying ‘cardio drumming’ to music🥁

Then in the afternoon we had the Jigsaw duo playing classics 🧩 lots of singing, reminiscing and smiles. 🩵

What a lovely day celebrating Portsmouth 100th anniversary! 🎉

We enjoyed a fascinating talk from JJ Marshallsay this morning and were Honoured to welcome the mayor of Portsmouth, Gerald Vernon-Jackson, along with the lady mayoress.

It was Especially meaningful as many of our residents have lived in the city over the years, particularly our centenarian, Albert. Displays sharing residents experiences sparked lots of conversations with everyone enjoying reminiscing and sharing their stories. 🩵

This afternoon, we were treated to a wonderful performance from vintage singer Nathalie Millyard, followed by The fantastic Portsmouth city band in the garden, rounding off a brilliant day 🎺🎶

✨ Talk from local historian JJ Marshallsay - 11:00am – 12:00pm
🌿 Lunch in the garden - 12:00pm – 1:00pm
🎤 Vintage singer performance - 1:00pm – 2:00pm🎺 Live brass band - 3:00pm – 4:00pm

Plus there will be a raffle with prizes to be won!

We had a lovely day at our Easter Egg Hunt today! 🐣🌸 It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying themselves and having so much fun. A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a great success. We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did! 💛🐰

What a lovely couple of days in the home! ✨
Yesterday, our residents got creative making their very own bird feeders-we can’t wait to see all the feathered visitors they attract! 🕊️We also had a wonderful visit from a therapy dog, bringing plenty of smiles, cuddles and joy to everyone🩵🐶 Today kept the good vibes going with a fantastic live singer who had everyone tapping their feet and singing along 🎶
