I work very differently from most therapists. My clients come to me with a health issue - whether it is aches and pains, stress and stress related illnesses, depression, allergies, lack of direction, lack of energy, long standing health issues, phobias, fears and pretty much everything else in between.
Together we work through the best way to solve that issue - it could mean a combination of techniques - or such a single modality but we work together. All my therapies are the same price so you don’t need to pay extra for a certain treatment and it means that I can access my arsenal of treatments to help you to the best of my ability.
I even have a fabulous Wellbeing Package (this is 6 treatments for the price of 5) where we can really make some positive changes!

I first discovered Bowen technique after suffering for two years with sciatica after my daughter was born. Having tried chiropractic, osteopathy, physio and massage the only thing that worked was Bowen. I was so impressed I went on to add Bowen to my other treatments and even now after 20 years it never fails to amaze me. A fantastic option for soft tissue injuries, sports injuries, alignment, shoulder/joint injuries. Sometimes the gentlest of touch is all you need. Julie

Did you know I am also a coach? It’s not something I advertise much but I’ve had nearly 20 Years experience as a therapist and I love to share my knowledge! This particular ‘student’ is studying for a diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy and I enjoy coaching these students particularly. It’s lovely when they can see all their learning and experience come together to form a business plan that they can move forward with their business. We look at strengths/weaknesses and use lots of techniques to overcome their limiting beliefs! Julie x

As well as therapy work I also tutor/coach students who are completing the amazing Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy course that I completed 4 years ago.
This is a role I absolutely love. Helping students through the course and looking at limiting beliefs that may stop them being the best therapist they can be. We use a lot of CBH skills to overcome this. Nibha is one of my students! This includes looking at how effective they feel they are being, how good they are at problem solving, how self assertive and self expressive they are, looking at what their core beliefs are relating to their self worth and how confident they feel about the skills they are learning. We also look at their values and motivation. I approach coaching the same way as I do working with clients. Being there, listening and looking at changing any negative beliefs they may have about themselves. It's a collaborative exchange and one that brings me an immense amount of joy when I see at lightbulb moment of understanding! If you'd like to make changes in your life why not send me a message? My name is Julie Elder and I own Totally Holistic Health. With over 15 years experience as a holistic therapist I think I've seen (and heard) pretty much everything! What I offer is a safe environment to be able to get to the heart of peoples problems.
