We had a heart warming visit at Potters Grange this week from Performing Pets 🐑💛

Lily the lamb stole the show as she happily sat on laps, soaking up plenty of hugs, gentle strokes, and attention from our residents. She brought smiles to everyone’s faces, residents and staff alike!

We had a brilliant magic show at Potters Grange this week ✨🎩

Mr Marvel - Children's Entertainer back by popular demand, was absolutely amazing! He had our residents laughing from start to finish! The staff got involved too, and everyone had such a fantastic time.

And yes… there was even a real-life rabbit! 🐰✨

Spotted phones at Ardale?

These are our staff care devices 👇

All of our care staff use dedicated care devices, giving them real-time access to daily care notes through Nourish .

Our Activity Coordinators also use these devices to capture special moments and share them with families via Famileo, keeping loved ones connected wherever they are.

To protect privacy and maintain professionalism, personal phones aren’t used within our Households 💚

Today we enjoyed a wonderful trip out to Dutch Marketplace - Brookmans Park, our local garden centre in Potters Bar 🌸☀️

With the sun shining, it was the perfect day for a little outing. Our group today happened to be all ladies, who thoroughly enjoyed their sandwiches together and a relaxed stroll around the lovely shopping areas afterwards.

A simple day out, filled with smiles, fresh air, and great company 💕

What is a Care Home Nurse? 🩺

Care Home Nurses provide expert clinical care, supporting residents health, dignity, and wellbeing.

At Ardale, our nurses are supernumerary, not counted in care staffing- so they can focus on clinical leadership and support for residents and staff.

Potters Grange had an amazing Easter weekend full of sweet treats, creativity and an Easter Egg hunt! 💙

We are so grateful to our exceptional care team, whose hard work and compassion ensure that Potters Grange remains a loving home for our residents, holidays and all. 🌷🐣💛

At Ardale, dignity comes before visibility.

We don’t show residents faces on social media, this is their home, not a public space. Any faces you see belong to our lovely staff or visitors. 🏡

Consenting to being online isn’t always clear, especially with different abilities and levels of understanding. We do capture special moments 📸, but these are shared privately with families via Famileo.

Our residents deserve comfort, privacy, and the freedom to live without feeling observed.

Yesterday at Potters Grange we had a cocktail making activity and it was super fun and tasty! 🍓🌿

Our residents enjoyed a refreshing strawberry mint mocktail with lots of lovely toasts and chats about cocktails. Everything was adapted to suit our residents with no alcohol and carefully prepared for everyone to enjoy!

A wonderful afternoon enjoyed by all 🥂

Yesterday's pet therapy was great! Performing Pets brought along chicks, to both to Potters and Welwyn Grange.

Giving everyone the opportunity to gently hold and pet them, or just have a look! Our residents and staff loved it. 🐥💚
