We understand how important compassionate and dignified end-of-life care is, not only for our residents but for their families too. To hear that our team made a positive difference during such a time is humbling.

Soaking up the sunshine this week at Potters Grange ☀️🌿

Our lovely outdoor area has been full of smiles and laughter as residents and staff enjoyed the beautiful weather together.
We cooled down with tasty ice lollies, enjoyed great company, and made the most of the sunshine, fun was definitely had by all! 🍦💛

There were plenty of smiles at Potters Grange this week as some adorable baby goats stopped by for a pet therapy visit 🐐

Playful and cheeky antics brought lots of laughter, making them an instant hit with both residents and staff!

Recently at Potters Grange...💙

We’ve been keeping busy with lots of fun activities, from bean bag toss to word searches, quizzes, and games!

We also celebrated a resident’s birthday 🎂, and the residents enjoyed watching the special birthday celebration for Sir David Attenborough 🌿🐾.

We took part in a VE session too, spending some time remembering and honouring those who served our country ❤️

At Ardale, our nurses are supernumerary to care staff, so they can focus fully on delivering the best possible care.

Joan supports residents with personalised, compassionate care, completes medication rounds, keeps care notes up to dated, and helps guide and support the wider team in her senior role.

Activity Coordinators organise and run activities that support residents’ wellbeing, independence, and social connection.

Using person led care, they plan sessions around each individual’s interests, preferences, and life experiences - so activities are meaningful, not just routine.

From group events to one-to-one time, their role is to keep residents engaged, active, and involved in daily life.
