🌸 Final Touches for Our Garden Project🌸

Today, residents Nancy and Arnold enjoyed a fantastic visit to Aylett Nurseries in London Colney as part of our ongoing garden project. Together, they helped choose some beautiful flowers for the garden, continuing a project that has been resident-led from the very beginning.

A special thank you to Neil, our wonderful driver, who has supported several of our trips. Today he helped load our flowers and shopping, allowing us to focus fully on our residents.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch outing with two of our residents as part of our Residents’ Wishes and “Day in the Life” trips 💙

Their choice was a delicious steak lunch at Harvester 🥩🍴 where we spent the afternoon chatting, laughing, and making special memories together 😊 The sunshine made the day even more perfect! 🌞

Supporting our residents to continue enjoying the things they love is so important to us, and we can’t wait for our upcoming trip to the church, as requested by our residents⛪

Making Wishes Come True – Peter’s Virtual Wedding Experience 💒

Yesterday was a truly special moment at Cooper’s Croft as we helped our resident Peter attend his granddaughter Emily’s wedding all the way in Paphos, Cyprus — virtually.

Thanks to the idea from our BDM Dawn, the support of Mariella the wedding planner overseas, and the incredible efforts of Zach and the whole wellbeing team, we transformed our cinema room into a beautiful wedding celebration. Peter was overwhelmed with emotion and proud to share the experience with both longstanding and new friends from the home.

A real team effort and a wonderful reminder of what making wishes come true is all about ❤️

Today, our amazing team took part in Moving and Handling Refresher Training, helping to reinforce safe practices, build confidence, and support the wellbeing of both residents and team. 💙

🌸✨ A wonderful day at the Chelsea Flower Show for our residents at Cooperscroft and Cuffley Manor! We took five of our lovely residents to experience the breathtaking floral displays, and the fragrances truly brought their senses to life.
Nancy, who visited many years ago, said, "It's much better than I remember!" 🍹🍓 To top it off, they enjoyed some refreshing drinks, with Nancy and Peter opting for a delicious Pimms.
It was a magical day filled with joy and beautiful memories. We are thrilled to have made this wish come true! 🌼❤️

🌟 What a fantastic time we had at our third "Hoat Your Roast" gathering this year! 🎉 We were thrilled to welcome some new guests to the mix. A big thank you to Linda from 60 Plus and our guest's daughter, Sue, for their amazing entertainment! 🎤
We even had a surprise appearance from the legendary Tom Jones! (Although we think it was Sue wearing a mask) 🎶 And for the second consecutive year, the lovely Doris chose to celebrate her birthday with us. 🎂
The weather was perfect, and we made the most of the sunshine in the garden. ☀️ Cheers to great food, wonderful company, and unforgettable memories! 🥳🥂
