🚨SPOILER ALERT 🚨…
You don’t need to be happy 24/7‼️
✨So many clients I work with tell me they’re frustrated with themselves for not “feeling happy all the time.”
✨Between careers, families, relationships, and the constant juggle of everyday life, it’s no wonder we feel the pressure to keep smiling.
✨But happiness isn’t a permanent state and it was never meant to be.
🚘 Emotions are like indicators on your dashboard. Stress, sadness, or frustration don’t mean you’re failing-they mean your mind and body are giving you valuable signals.
🌦 Just like the seasons, your feelings are meant to shift and change. If you never felt the rain, you wouldn’t appreciate the sunshine.
💚 When you allow yourself to feel what you’re feeling, instead of criticising yourself for it, you create space for balance, resilience and genuine joy.
✨ Even as a therapist, I don’t feel happy all the time! I have ups and downs, bad days, wobbles and times when things feel heavy too. That’s being human. The difference is I don’t beat myself up for it anymore.
✨ So if you’re giving yourself a hard time today, pause and remind yourself: you don’t need to “fix” your feelings. Sometimes you just need to honour them.
