I am a fully qualified (HPD, DSFH, BA Hons), accredited and insured clinical Solution Focused Hypnotherapist. My practice is based in Potton, Bedfordshire but I can also work with you online from anywhere in the world. I specialise in supporting people feeling anxious, overwhelmed and stressed but can support with a wide range of symptoms. I am so passionate about the solution focused approach and have seen it change so many lives, including my own! Solution Focused Hypnotherapy combines forward thinking talking psychotherapy (taking elements of SFBT, CBT and NLP) and hypnosis and is a very modern and up to date approach based on the latest neuroscience. We work on moving forward and helping you to become the best version of yourself again, without the need to dwell on the past or focus on the problem. We focus on helping you to find solutions, reduce anxiety and stress levels (all of which contribute to many other conditions), as well as changing behaviours and unhelpful thinking patterns. We also help you to understand how your brain works and why you feel and behave the way you do. Solution Focused Hypnotherapy combines both conscious and sub-conscious change. What difference would that make to your life? What would you be able to achieve? I work with people suffering from; anxiety, stress, overwhelm, depression, low mood, low confidence, sleep problems, chronic pain, OCD, phobias, plus many more! If you are ready to make changes and get the real you back again then please don't hesitate to get in touch to book your initial consultation and start your journey. I look forward to hearing from you.

āYouāre different to what I expected⦠in a good way.ā
A client said this to me in a consultation yesterday.
She told me sheād expected a lot of head tilting, lots of sympathy and someone to sit with her in everything thatās gone wrongā¦
But instead, she found the approach really refreshing.
Now donāt get me wrongā¦I am empathetic.
I hear some incredibly difficult, heartbreaking things and of course I meet that with kindness and understanding.
But Iām not here to keep you stuck there.
Iām not the therapist who just nods along and says āpoor youā session after session.
Because therapy isnāt about going over the problem again and againā¦
Itās about helping you move forward.
Seeing things differently.
Building momentum.
Creating real, lasting change.
And for so many people, that shift is exactly what theyāve been missing.
If youāre ready to move forward, not stay stuck in the pastā¦
Iāve got you š.

Some days I just sit back and think⦠I genuinely love what I do š.
This morning alone has been such a reminder of the variety and privilege that comes with this job.
A long term client who Iāve seen for 40+ sessions where itās not just about ātherapyā anymore, itās about connection, check-ins, reflecting on how far theyāve come and continuing to move forward.
Then a 13-year-old boy in his first session, building that rapport, helping him see things from a different perspective and watching those little shifts already starting.
And then a consultation with an older lady navigating overwhelm and low motivation, carrying so much life experience and difficult circumstances⦠and just needing someone to really listen and help her find a way forward.
Three completely different people.
Three completely different stories.
All in the space of one morning.
And thatās what I love š.
No two days are ever the same. No two clients are ever the same. But every single one of them trusts me to be part of their journey and thatās something I never take for granted šš„ŗ.
Itās not about being perfect or having all the answers⦠itās about showing up, being real and helping people create change in a way that actually works for them.
Honestly⦠I wouldnāt swap it š.
If youāve been thinking about starting your own journey, this is your reminder that you donāt have to stay stuck.

Things that have genuinely helped my mental health recently š.
Nothing drastic.
Nothing complicated.
Just small, consistent things that bring me back to myself.
š¾ Slowing down with Benji.
āļø Getting outside and into the daylight.
š§ Focusing my brain on whatās good (even when it feels hard).
š Taking little moments to look after me.
š¤ Moving my body in a way I enjoy.
ā Connection, chats, and coffee dates.
š« And yes⦠a bit of chocolate too.
We often think it has to be a big life overhaulā¦
But itās usually the simple, everyday things that make the biggest difference.
Whatās been helping you lately? š

Let me tell you about Michelleā¦
She originally got in touch because of a snake phobia before a trip to Borneo š.
But when we sat down for her consultation, it became clear it wasnāt just about snakes.
She was feeling constantly anxious.
Overthinking everything.
Struggling to sleep.
Rushing through life, putting pressure on herself to do it all.
So thatās where we started.
Over 10 sessions, she began to:
⨠Lower her stress levels.
⨠Slow things down.
⨠Put boundaries in place (with work, family⦠and herself).
⨠Prioritise her sleep and wellbeing.
⨠Change the way she was thinking day to day.
And then, a few weeks before her trip, we focused on the snake phobia š.
Just two targeted sessions.
And she went to Borneo⦠calm, in control and able to get up close with snakes š.
This is why we donāt just treat the symptom.
We work on the bigger picture first.
Because when your brain feels calmer⦠everything else becomes easier.
Super proud of Michelle and her journey š.

Rosieās story is such a powerful reminder that itās not about completely changing your life overnightā¦
Itās about small, consistent changes that start to shift how you feel, think and show up šš¼.
One of the biggest shifts for her wasnāt just reducing anxiety, it was realising what she actually wanted her life to look like.
And that it didnāt have to be what everyone else was doing!
When you understand how your brain works and start working with it (not against it), things can change more than you might expect š.
If youāre feeling overwhelmed, stuck or unsure of your direction⦠you donāt have to stay there.
My waiting list is open, just drop me a message š§.

It really stayed with me when a client asked this yesterday.
Because it made me realiseā¦
Some people genuinely expect to be forgotten.
And thatās sad but also very understandable.
When youāve felt overlooked, unheard, or like just another numberā¦of course youād wonder.
So let this be your reminder:
The right therapist doesnāt just listenā¦
they know you.
You matter.
Your story matters.
And the details matter too š.

IBS and anxiety are so often linked.
Many people I see come to me believing the problem is purely physical when actually the nervous system has been under pressure for a long time.
When we reduce stress, change thinking patterns and rebuild confidence, the body can start to settle too.
Sianās story is a beautiful example of how small changes over time can create big shifts.

Sometimes social media can feel like a double edged sword š”ļø.
Itās helped me build my business, connect with incredible people and share ideas that hopefully help others.
But it also comes with something our brains were never designed for⦠instant opinions from strangers who only see a tiny snapshot of a situation.
Learning not to absorb every comment or criticism is one of the healthiest boundaries we can build online.
A little reminder today: not every opinion deserves your energy.

Sometimes the best reset isnāt doing more⦠itās doing lessšæ.
A simple morning walk in nature.
Fresh air.
A slower pace.
When life feels busy or overwhelming, scaling things down a notch can make a huge difference to your mindset.
You donāt always need a big plan or a big change, often the little things are enough.
What small thing could you do this week to take the pressure off yourself and lift your mood? š

āThatās just how my brain works.ā
I hear this from clients all the time when they talk about anxiety, overthinking or constant worry.
And I completely understand why people feel that way.
When your brain has been stuck in stress mode for a long time, those thought patterns start to feel automatic.
But automatic doesnāt mean permanent.
Our brains are constantly changing through something called neuroplasticity, which means the brain can build new pathways and learn new responses.
The danger of labelling yourself as ājust an anxious personā is that it can make you feel like nothing can change.
But brains change every single day.
Sometimes they just need the right support to start learning something different.
