I am a fully qualified (HPD, DSFH, BA Hons), accredited and insured clinical Solution Focused Hypnotherapist. My practice is based in Potton, Bedfordshire but I can also work with you online from anywhere in the world. I specialise in supporting people feeling anxious, overwhelmed and stressed but can support with a wide range of symptoms. I am so passionate about the solution focused approach and have seen it change so many lives, including my own! Solution Focused Hypnotherapy combines forward thinking talking psychotherapy (taking elements of SFBT, CBT and NLP) and hypnosis and is a very modern and up to date approach based on the latest neuroscience. We work on moving forward and helping you to become the best version of yourself again, without the need to dwell on the past or focus on the problem. We focus on helping you to find solutions, reduce anxiety and stress levels (all of which contribute to many other conditions), as well as changing behaviours and unhelpful thinking patterns. We also help you to understand how your brain works and why you feel and behave the way you do. Solution Focused Hypnotherapy combines both conscious and sub-conscious change. When Claire first came to see me, she felt completely overwhelmed-constantly crying, overthinking, and barely sleeping.

Week by week, she began making small, manageable changes: journaling, decluttering her home, and using lists to bring calm and structure to her days.

Now, she describes herself as 10 out of 10 on the happiness scale…not because life is perfect, but because she’s learned how to manage it with grace and confidence šŸ’š.

Do you ever find yourself worrying what people think of you?

Maybe replaying conversations, wondering if you said the wrong thing or if someone’s got the wrong idea?

It’s exhausting, isn’t it?

You can’t control what others think, even when it feels unfair. But that doesn’t make their story the truth.

Sometimes people misunderstand or make assumptions and that can hurt, especially when your integrity’s questioned.

But here’s the thing: you can’t correct every perception. What you can control is how you keep showing up.

Over time, truth, time and consistency = reputation recovery.

Most people move on far faster than your anxious mind believes.

When you notice yourself spiralling into ā€œwhat do they think?ā€ try this:
✨ Pause. Remind yourself that assumptions live in their mind, not yours.
✨ Refocus. Ask, ā€œWhat do I know to be true about me right now?ā€
✨ Re-align. Keep showing up with integrity, even when it’s tempting to overexplain or defend yourself.

You don’t need to fix their perception- you just need to stay anchored in who you are šŸ’š.

Songbird Hypnotherapy

Welcome to Songbird Hypnotherapy!

Songbird Hypnotherapy is a Solution Focused Hypnotherapy practice based in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. We are situated just off the A1 and are in easy access of towns located within Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. The practice is also in walking distance from Biggleswade train station. We are also able to work with you online if you would prefer or are not in travelling distance of the practice.

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is the only hypnotherapy under scientific study, producing amazing results. It is the gold standard of hypnotherapy, focusing on the solution, not dwelling on the past. A highly effective and safe form of talking pyschotherapy combined with relaxation techniques, based entirely on neuroscience.

We specialise in supporting people suffering from a range of symptoms and helping them to get their lives back on track, finding their true selves and their own harmony in the process.
