…The solution?

🎃 Focus on the adventure of trick-or-treating with friends and family, dressing up, meeting neighbours, carving pumpkins, making art, reading spooky books together or watching Halloween movies.

🎃 Another tip for parents: Before heading out for trick-or-treating, make their favorite meal—ideally something with healthy fats and protein to keep them satisfied. Keep water available to help wash away the sugar, and of course, don’t forget a thorough brush and floss session before bed.

🎃 Moderation is key: Halloween can be fun without creating bad habits or unhealthy relationships with food.
Keep the amount and frequency of the sticky-sweet-stuff low.

Dear patients,

Unfortunately we are unable to carry out face-to-face appointments at this time. This is due to injury of our principle dentist.

We are working on recruiting a Locum dentist for this period, and we understand this may be inconvenient for a number of our patients with pre-booked appointments. However you will be contacted to discuss your treatment plans.

In the meantime, our phone lines are still open to operate a remote advice service to help our patients in need.

We have yet to receive confirmation from NHS England but Potton Dental Practice will remain open as usual, unless we are updated differently.

Booked appointments will still go ahead and our team will be contacting you for our usual screening processes.

We have taken additional precautions to complement our already high standards of infection control during this time.

We are still running an emergency service here at Potton Dental Practice. We are now additionally contacting our regular patients who we believe have a higher dental risk of either tooth decay or gum disease.
