🛑 If you can’t do it perfectly, you don’t do it at all.

❌ One slip - guilt - sabotage - “I’ll start again Monday.”

😔 This mindset keeps you stuck in the same cycle, not because you lack willpower, but because the rules you’re following are too rigid to be sustainable.

Emotional Weight NOT Physical Weight:

It’s not the food… it’s the feelings.

👉🏻 Stress, guilt, overwhelm, loneliness and old beliefs can all trigger the habits that keep you stuck.

When emotional “weight” stays unaddressed, the physical weight won’t shift either.

Unconscious Beliefs About Food and Your Body:

“I always fail.”
“I can’t be trusted around food.”
“Healthy eating is hard.”

These thoughts run in the background, quietly controlling your choices, habits and results.

When you rewrite these beliefs, your behaviour naturally changes without you even having to try.

Weight loss doesn’t start with food… it starts with your mind.

🎄 3 signs you might be running on autopilot and heading for burn out this festive season - and how to reset…

As we head into a super busy time of year, we all just keep pushing on, trying to be everything to everyone. Even when our bodies and minds are asking for a break.

Come on be honest? How many of you reading this are like me right now? I’m sat writing this with a sore throat, a snuffly nose and no energy whatsoever. I can hear one of my girls coughing non stop in her bedroom and the other pulled out of all her singing solos this week because her throat hurts to even talk, never mind sing!

Here are 3 signs you are running on empty right now:

👉🏻 Your days blur together
You move from job to job without really concentrate on any of them. Even “rest” feels rushed or unfulfilling.

👉🏻 You’re easily irritated or emotionally flat
Little things trigger you… or nothing seems to touch you at all. Both are signs of nervous system overload.

👉🏻 You feel busy but disconnected from yourself
You’re doing everything for everyone else, yet you can’t quite name what you need right now.

✨ How to reset (without adding more to your to-do list):

• Create small pockets of stillness, even 5 minutes of quiet counts
• Ask yourself once a day: “What do I need in this moment?”
• Give yourself permission to rest without earning it
• Choose presence over perfection this festive period

Taking time for yourself isn’t selfish, it’s how you come back home to yourself.

If this season feels full but inside you feel empty, it might be time to slow down ❤️

Why did a train to become a Fitness Instructor?

Because I know that what you eat and how you think on their own aren’t enough. You need fitness to join up the triangle.

More specifically strength training.

For us ladies over 40 it is so important to eat well, think well but also train well.

Building muscle is imperative to lifelong weight loss success. Not just for fat burning but for so many other reasons that I’ve highlighted in my reels over the last few days.

I see so many women pinning all their hopes on quick fixes but real success is hard earned and it doesn’t happen over night.

You have to put the real work in - on both mind and body - and it takes time.

I never would have joined a gym if it wasn’t for my daughter who wanted to join but due to her age couldn’t go without me.

I’ll be quite honest, gyms scare me!! Full of fit young people who all know what they are doing!

Because of Evi I had to man up, figure out the machines and get comfortable with the uncomfortable. We figured it all out together.

I love the gym now! But during this period of time I realised that there a lot of women who don’t have my Evi to hold their hand walking through those doors!

So… Reset your Fitness was born!!
