Seeing people grow and evolve in their relationships with food is what gets me up in the morning. No joke.

I’m so grateful to work with my clients, who are just like you! We uncover what is getting in their way of life long success including:

Step 1: a chemistry call, where we chat and get to know each other a little and book a first session if we are both happy to.
Step 2: a 1:1 session where we look deeper into what you’d like to work on and we formulate an agenda for our next few sessions.
Step 3: follow on sessions where we work through weight loss from the inside out, installing new habits and strategies and learning techniques to help really bed in those new habits and strategies.

Hi!! 👋 I’m the Emma behind Reset Weight Loss. For those of you who are new to me and don’t know me I just wanted to introduce myself!
I’m a 42 year old full time working mother of two who loves 🍷, 🍾 and 🍫!! But I also love 🏃‍♀️, 🐴 riding and 🚶 , 🚲 and playing 🏸 with my family!

I started my coaching business because I passionately believe that as slimmers, we need to deep dive into our psychology to really understand our relationships with food to sustain that weight loss for the rest of our lives. Otherwise we lose the weight, feel great but then a few months or years down the line find ourselves back at square one. Why? Because we haven’t got to the crux of the matter and we haven’t addressed it, learnt from it and fixed it. The devil is in the detail.

There is nothing my clients can throw at me that I haven’t experienced and worked through myself. I have been a binge eater, a secret eater, an over eater, an emotional eater and a self saboteur. I have been and I always will be! However I have formed healthy, sustainable, positive and more powerful thoughts that override the rest. Because we can’t erase our personal history, what we can do is learn from it and cement more powerful thoughts and processes that will stop those thoughts that no longer serve us from rearing their ugly heads again.

I do this with NLP and mBIT techniques. Really beautiful, kind and healing processes. As well as a deep understanding of having been there and done that.

💭 Autopilot! Do you ever drive somewhere and when you arrive you can’t remember getting from A-B because it’s such a well worn route it just happens?

Wouldn’t it be amazing if the same applied to our food habits? Instead of reaching for rubbish (on autopilot) when we are tired or emotional or stressed, we reached for good stuff instead?

Well guess what?? This can totally happen! We just need to reprogram a little. Install some new habits and strategies.

Starting in your 30s, muscle mass naturally declines (especially for women).

Preserving muscle helps with balance, mobility, bone density, and maintaining a healthy body weight over time.

Muscle isn’t just about how you look, it’s about how your body functions. If fat loss is the goal, muscle is the engine!

Instead of eating less and doing more cardio, try eating more of the right foods and building more muscle.

⛽️ Have you ever thought of your body as your fuel tank?

🚗 So when we fill our cars up with fuel we give the tank enough to fill it don’t we? We don’t keep going when it’s full because the fuel would over flow and it would be a waste wouldn’t it?

💪🏻 How about if we compare that to food fuelling our bodies? To lose weight we need a calorie deficit, that’s basically what it comes down too.

So we need to feed ourselves enough to fill us and fuel us but anything over and above what we need is extra calories we have to burn to get that deficit to lose weight.

🛑 So when our car fuel tank is full we stop filling. It’s worth a thought then that when your tummy is full maybe you should stop eating?

🍽️ How many times have you finished a meal when you are full because you are enjoying it so much? And then you feel over full.

This would be like your fuel tank over flowing! And costing you a fortune in money!

Except it’s a fortune in extra calories that you don’t need!

BUT! After years of dieting… have you lost touch with your body’s natural hunger and fullness cues? 🤔

Maybe your signals feel completely off.

You don’t feel full no matter how much you eat.
OR
Maybe you rarely ever feel hungry anymore.

Both of these situations can be a sign that your body’s internal regulation system, the one that’s meant to guide your eating naturally, has been disrupted.

And here’s the truth: when those signals are out of sync, lasting weight loss becomes so much more difficult. You aren’t broken, your body just needs to relearn how to trust you again.

Restoring your hunger and fullness cues isn’t about restriction… it’s about resetting them to your own factory settings.

As a life long dieter, I thought weight loss was all about meal plans and workouts. I couldn’t have been more wrong! Here are the 5 most invaluable lessons I’ve learned as a weight loss coach.

It’s never just about food. Mindset and emotions drive our choices more than calories ever will. Once these things shift the right food choices will follow.

Consistency beats perfection. Small daily wins are what really matter, they add up to big results. Steady away is much better than all or nothing. Think of the tortoise and the hare

Restriction is a hard no. You have to treat your body with respect, it’s your partner not the enemy. Nourishing habits works better than living in constant “no” mode

The scales are only one way to measure progress.

Confidence, energy, and strength matter just as much (sometimes more)

The right support changes everything. Nobody succeeds on their own. My clients who thrive have support, encouragement and accountability.

I’ve learned that community is not just “nice to have” - it’s vital

What’s the magic word to unlocking the door to life long weight loss success??

Diet ❎
Calories ❎
Cardio ❎
Fasting ❎

Certainly not!! How about?

Motivation ❓
Determination ❓
Encouragement ❓
Inspiration ❓

Hmmmmm, getting warmer!!

What about….

Consistency ✅

Yep that’s it! That’s the one! Nothing else matters if you aren’t consistent. That’s the long and the short of it.

For example…

🤔 How many times have you started couch to 5k?
🤔 How many times have you started a new diet?
🤔 How many times have you woken up on Monday morning determine this is going to be the week you nail it and by Wednesday it’s all gone wrong?
🤔 How many times have you joined the gym?
🤔 How many times have you vowed to drink 2 litres of water a day?

If you have started any of the above and aren’t still doing it then you are lacking consistency.

I can help you understand why you are lacking consistency and I promise once you’ve uncovered that, life long weight loss success is waiting for you.

Guess what?? I didn’t just get up and run 26.2miles!

I started by running to a lamp post and then walking to the next. I started with this for 10 minutes 3 times a week. Then I started running 2 lampposts.

At this point all I wanted to do was run 5k without stopping. It was 2019 I started this process. 6 years later I ran a marathon and it was all done through consistency.
