Before the chaos of Monday morning gets going why not take a minute now to set yourself up for the week?

Weight loss starts in your mind before it shows on your body.

As we head into a new week, ask yourself:

🧠 Am I thinking like the version of me I’m becoming?

❓ Am I fuelling my body for the person I want to be?
❓ Am I making decisions the future me will thank me for?

Why not set one realistic and achievable goal for this week?

🥗 Maybe it’s planning and cooking from scratch.

🚶‍♀️ Maybe it’s 20 minutes of movement a day.

💧 Maybe it’s nailing hydration.

Whatever it is share in the comments. When you share a thought with others it becomes more than just a thought, it becomes an intention and makes you more accountable.

🧠 Our lives revolve around habits!

✅ Some habits are no brainers… like getting up in the morning and brushing our teeth, or getting that first brew on the go!

❎ But some habits aren’t so helpful.

Ask yourself:

Which of my habits are helping my progress right now?

Which habits are sabotaging me?

🍫 My worst habit is having sometime sweet after my lunch! I don’t need it! It’s just become something I do!

Habits are emotional and neurological short cuts, they are patterns our brain creates to reduce the cognitive load in our head and also to preserve energy! The less we have to think about something the less brain power and energy it takes up. Our brain will always look for the easiest most efficient way to solve a problem!

🔁 So every time we repeat a behaviour in response to a specific trigger - like stress, boredom, frustration, disappointment - our brain strengthens that neural pathway, eventually turning that behaviour into an autopilot.

🥅 We need to start repeating the behaviours that we know will get us closer to our goals, not drive us further away.

Start to consciously recognise your habits. With knowledge comes power and with power comes opportunity! Raising awareness is the first step. Once you’ve done that you can be intentional about implementing positive new habits that will take you closer to your goals.

Small habits stack up! Instead of trying to fix everything, just focus on one thing. And when you are nailing it then focus on someone else.

Make those habits small, realistic and achievable and then the bigger results will take care of themselves.

Squats are an awesome exercise!

Just a few squats a day:
• Strengthen your lower body and core
• Support joint and bone health
• Boost energy and circulation
• Help you build a consistent exercise habit

It’s a small action with a big domino effect—especially when done consistently.

It’s hard to justify spending money on yourself. I absolutely get it.
