It’s been a while I know ☺️
I’ve taken a long break from social media over the winter months .
A little health scare back in December shook me up a little and whilst ive kept working I’ve also focused more so on myself . I am absolutely fine , I’ve really appreciated those of you who kept me sane whilst you came in for treatments, I mean who was looking after who here 🤔🥰.
March and April are looking extremely busy .

Today’s the day .
I’d like to say I’ve trained hard but I haven’t .
But I can say I’ve trained safely and after dropping out last year of GNR I certainly wasn’t doing that this time .

Could I have trained more ? Maybe so but I’m in for Joy not a PB although that be nice 😉

Guide Dogs UK

This is me 10 years ago … my first ever Marathon raising funds for Guidedogs .

I’ve taken the easier option this time and I’ll be running GNR ,just 13 hard flipping miles in Newcastle on Sunday 7 th sept .

To help my fund raising along the way I’ll be holding an Open day on
FRIDAY 29TH AUG . From 11 am onwards .
Donations to be made to my fund page at a minimum suggestion of £5 pp . Coffee / teas/ cakes will be served and if it rolls on into the early evening I may enjoy a glass of wine with you 😊.

I’ll have a surprise guest here and I know you’ll be excited to know who 😉

It would be great to know if you can make it ,along with any friends ,and also roughly what time you hope to join us . This way I can bake and share rather than bake and eat it all myself 😜.

If it’s a sunny day we will be outside . Dogs are welcome if kept on a lead .

I’ll be holding a plant and book sale also so any offerings for either of these would be hugely appreciated 💗 looking forward to hearing from you xx

💗Being asked by Libby and Jack to be a birthing partner was a true privilege and a moment I’ll treasure forever .
💕Libby was astonishing, brave ,calm and totally composed and all with no pain relief … she really is a tough cookie with the softest centre and I’m extremely proud of her .

🏃‍♀️So last year although I had a place via the ballot for GNR I had to pull out as I injured my knee . I feel reasonably recovered enough to take part this year and hoping to raise some funds for Guide Dogs .
I will forever wonder how my Grandfather managed without the help and support of a guide dog . Think he simply had a fantastic wife ! And he just got on with it . I know many who not only totally rely on their dogs for support but who also utterly adore them and become great companions. 🐕
If you can spare a few £££ I’d be hugely grateful x
