Highly Trained and Experienced Therapist offering a range of Professional Therapies. From Deep Tissue MASSAGE, Relaxing, Mindful, Reconnecting, Nurturing, Detox to Repletive, Gentle Massage. REFLEXOLOGY for rebalance of all the body systems through the feet, also trained in Fertility and Pregnancy work several years ago and have had lots of succesful outcomes. REIKI, Usui System, a decade of practice and training to Master level. Blissful, gentle and non-invasive, but dynamic in relaxation, and re-harmonising on many levels. Healing, not 'curing' we aim to assist your body, mind and spirit to come to terms with things the way they are. If we are dynamic in achieving a state of relaxation, we are optimising the body's own chances of healing itself. Whilst more and more evidence is reported about stress impacting negatively on our state of health, the values of relaxation therapies do serve to impact positively on us in the same way.

My journey as a Reflexologist began in 2008. Reflexology is what inspired me to take a redirection in career from Occupational Therapist to Complementary Therapist. My year fulltime at college culminated in winning the Gold medal for the UK at the World Skills competition - Not something I'd anticipated, but a fabulous platform to encourage me to make the transition into a new career. It was a little-known discipline back then,
More people than ever are choosing complementary disciplines to manage health conditions. I've witnessed a great shift in approaches to health in the past several years This is great news. It seems we are more informed than ever about natural bolsters for health - even the medical profession are catching up 😊 ~ reflexology being recommended in Fertility, Pregnancy and Menopause/ peri-menopause at many specialist NHS centres. Many clients have tried this for the first time in recent weeks and haven't been disappointed ! I have had great success over the years in helping clients with all of the above and more - from pain management to mental health conditions. As a fully trained & highly experienced reflexologist I paint a picture with the information you give me, my clinical knowledge, reflexology techniques and how feet present in treatment to manage and rebalance clients back to optimum health as much as possible. Nervous system regulation is it's potency I believe. It's important to work all the body systems mapped out on the feet and this takes time, so I allow an hour for a full treatment. Currently sessions are £50.

What a year. Longer, slower, deeper treatments have featured greatly. I read a quote this year about Self Care, a very underutilised dynamic of which being : allowing others to care for us too. . .

Thanks once again for supporting my (very small) business again this year.
It's just me, my hands, skills and knowledge as a therapist (from the past 30 years👵)... I don't feel old in the slightest 😄, just grateful for my experience and the opportunities I'm gifted by everyone who comes to my table. My objective always is to bring about "ease" - physically, psychologically or emotionally. . . I can adapt treatment for each individual with their specific needs on the day, but my aim is to practice safely and ethically first and foremost, so If you have more pressing medical needs, or I believe there's a better practitioner who might help you more pertinently, I will always say. This keeps us both safe. Thanks for your co-operation and understanding. 🙏✨️

An emotional day of both sadness and joy as myself and Jinny Abram completed our qualification with the help of the amazingly kind and selfless teacher Sharon. Thanks to Lorna for her demonstrations, glorious presence and Sarah for doing all things in the background working to make this happen. Beverly this morning also an inspiration ~ all Netty's Angel's who stepped in to help us complete what the legendary Annette Brown School of Hypnotherapy started for us 🙏💜 RIP Netty, truly loved, truly missed and always remembered for your amazing heartfelt way of giving so many people hope. I think Flo is trying to work out if it's Autumn or Spring... Regardless, we'll take extra flowers and fruit with the clement temperatures. I haven't posted much at all recently. We are still here, doing great work, utilising everything I have to enable each and every one of you to better & more empowered health. There's a lot going on behind the scenes in terms of development and it's not just my home - although that has demanded my attention. My own self-care, studying etc. to evolve as a therapist (always). It all takes time. Time is something you've all taken on the table this season as the nights draw in and we move toward Christmas again the 90 mins and 2 hour treatmens are serving as a potent way to reconnnect, recharge, relax, replenish you as we adapt through the winter months. Well done all and thank you ! I can't believe how quickly the end of this year has come around. My studies have taken me from Hypnotherapy to Myofascial Release and Lymphatic Drainage techniques. All of my experience is not wasted, I bring my whole self to the table. Thanks for choosing me as it's a privilege to work with each and every one of you in such a bespoke way. 🙏✨️💚. Our Story

Healing Works was set up in 2009 by former NHS Health Professional Jacqueline Lang. Jackie was inspired to train in Touch Therapies after witnessing the benefits of Complementary Therapies on her patients whilst working in a Hospital Mental Health setting. As a Dual-Trained Therapist, it was her passion to work Holistically with people, integrating all of her skills and knowledge in both Physical and Mental Health using the medium of Touch. Healing Works has been Jackie’s Occupation and sole Work focus for almost a decade now. In this time she has gained a wealth of experience which enables her to continue to make a real difference in people’s everyday lives.

“I am inspired by everybody who crosses the threshold of my treatment room. Every Body has a story... Interacting for an hour with a persons body is arguably the most privileged Health Vocation, and I feel very lucky to get to see valuable outcomes - people functioning better in their everyday lives - that is what it’s all about for me.”

The former Occupational Therapist returned to College Full-Time in 2008 to obtain a Diploma in Complementary and Alternative Medicine. As a Student she won The 2009 World Skills UK Gold Medal in Reflexology, and was presented her award by famous Chef James Martin at a prestigious ceremony in London that year. As a Therapist she has completed extra training in Fertility, Pregnancy and Childbirth Reflexology. Having trained in 2006 as a Reiki Master, Jackie has since completed Master Teacher training, a Diploma in Mindfulness and Meditation Instruction, as well as adding a Clinical Hypnosis (Dip) and Medical Acupuncture to her skill base. For several years she has continued her professional development in Advanced Massage and continues to do so. “ Healing Works was just an idea born from a business proposal project at College, but the name stuck. Healing does not mean curing, I believe when you give the Nervous System the right feedback at the right time the Body is very clever in optimising itself - Physically, Emotionally, Psychologically, Energetically and Physiologically - hence the vast Outcomes of Treatment. This can mean leaps and bounds in living pain free, or being able to do the thing’s you need to of a day - daily activities, sports/hobbies etc. People come for treatment for maintaining good health, but also when they have a health problem. Lots of people present themselves with pain, however find that the treatments serve in a multitude of ways as very effective antidotes to the stresses of modern living .” - Jackie Lang.
