At Helping Hands, we understand how difficult it can be to make the decision to start receiving care & support which allows you to remain in your home. Our amazing Home Care in Blackpool team are here to listen to you and create a support package that is tailored to your needs and preferences. We endeavour to make this difficult decision a calm and informed one, taking steps to ensure you are comfortable and confident you are making the best decision for you. You will have regular carers who know you you will be introduced to each of your carers by someone you know; never will a stranger come to care for you. Whether you need 30 minutes a week or Live in Care in Blackpool, Helping Hands are here for you

“My day is structured around the needs, preferences, and routines of each individual I care for.”

Person-centred care means putting the individual at the heart of everything we do - respecting their choices, routines, and values. It’s about supporting people to live well, with independence in the comfort of their own homes.

At Helping Hands, we love celebrating the incredible people who make a real difference every day. Today, we’re proud to share Adyanna’s story - one of passion, purpose, and a genuine commitment to person-centered care.

“Growing up, care was always part of my world. My Nana was a carer for the council, and my mum has worked in care for over a decade. Watching their dedication left a lasting impression on me. I started working in care just before turning 17, alongside my mum while still in college, and I haven’t looked back since.”

Adyanna joined Helping Hands in March 2024 at just 19 years old and has been making an incredible impact ever since.

“What I enjoy most is getting to know each client’s routine and personal preferences. There’s something incredibly meaningful about being able to brighten someone’s day - even more so knowing that we might be the only friendly face they see. That motivates me to always deliver the highest standard of person-centered care. Helping Hands is a fantastic company for people who genuinely care about making a difference and creating positive moments in others’ lives.”

Fostering a culture of inclusion, engagement, and wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do, and this week, our Support Office team brought that spirit to life with one of our wellbeing walks around Alcester.

This activity is an important part of helping our team stay connected, support one another, and reinforce the community spirit at the heart of everything we do.

It was a lovely moment to step away from our desks, enjoy the fresh air, chat with colleagues, and spend a moment in the heart of the community we’re proud to serve 💜
