Primrose Bank Residential Care Home Primrose Bank provides Residential, Respite and Senior Day care to people over 65 years of age We are registered and regulated by the CQC.

We are a family run care home in Poulton Le Fylde, recently extended to 45 bedrooms. We provide short and long term care, personal care, rehabilitation and life fulfillment for the over 65s.

Good morning everyone! We hope you’re enjoying your Bank Holiday, despite the weather!
Come and have a look what we’re up to this week…

We’re starting our week with Higher or Lower and some Tabletop Curling this afternoon.
Tomorrow Martin from St Chad’s is coming for our monthly communion and residents will be entertained by Dave Bear for an afternoon of Live Music.
Wednesday starts with Flower Arranging and is followed by a general knowledge Quiz a little later.
Our morning activity on Thursday is Bingo! After lunch we have a group heading out to help Poulton St Chad's CE Primary School with their garden. Back at PRB we’ll have board games.
Friday we have Karl our Art Tutor back for a class, and after fish and chips, Sonia is back to get everyone moving.

As always, families and friends are welcome to join us for the music on Tuesday. ❤️

The joy in the room was undeniable as our residents and the children spent time together; sharing giggles, stories, and some truly lovely moments. It’s amazing how quickly connections are made, no matter the age difference. ❤️

We spent our afternoon making reed diffusers yesterday.
Residents made their way through the design process, picking the stencils and painting the glass. Once they were dry, they then picked their scent and residents were able to have them in their bedrooms as something to keep.
When the oil runs out they can keep their scent or pick something different.

Good morning everyone!

We have a fun-packed week lined up for our residents this week, let’s have a look…

The Monday Mixer is back this morning, offering the residents fresh fruit smoothies and some gentle stretching, starting the week right! 🍌🍎🍓🍍A little later today we have something for the creatives, making our own reed diffusers.
We’re kicking off tomorrow with Dominoes, and live music after lunch with Liam Halewood 🎙️
Wednesday begins with some exercise with Jamie from Gfitness 🏋️‍♂️ and we’ll have a quiz a little later 🤔 Bev will be in the salon all day too ✂️
We start with Bingo on Thursday morning, and a visit from our ‘littles’ 👦👶👧 coming from Kids Planet Poulton in the afternoon.
Karl is here on Friday morning for an Art Class🎨 as well as Jenna to paint nails 💅 and after fish and chips, we’re seeing in the weekend with Happy Hour in the garden! (Weather permitting)🍻🍹

Good morning everyone, we hope you’re all enjoying the sunshine as much as us ☀️
We’re looking forward to a warm week here at PRB, meaning we can get out in the garden between activities and top up our Vitamin D ❤️

Here’s what we have planned for the coming week…

This morning we’ll start with Higher or Lower, ♦️♣️ and a very special afternoon of pampering for our residents after lunch. 💆
We begin Tuesday with Dominoes, and as always, Live Music in the afternoon. This week brought to you by Marianne 🎙️
We have a showing of Cirque Du Soleil 🎪 on Wednesday morning, and our weekly quiz in the afternoon.
Its “eyes down” for Bingo on Thursday morning. A little later, a very special workshop delivered by an Edge Hill University student which sounds super interesting. 🎭
Friday means that Karl kicks off our morning with our weekly Art Class, which will be followed by Sonia’s Exercise after 🎣 & 🍟’s for lunch.
