Yesterday we made fruit scones.
PRB looked like a winter snow scene for a little while, but as you can see we had lots of fun and the ladies always do a fantastic job! ❤️

Good afternoon everyone, sorry this is slightly later than usual!
We’ve had a great day today for our Mother’s Day Special, starting off with Bingo this morning where residents were able to win some flowers or a voucher kindly donated by our hairdresser Bev! This afternoon we’ve had Emma in for a full afternoon of pampering for everyone that wanted.
Tomorrow we’ll have Dominoes in the morning, and some fantastic music from Andy Eastwood in the afternoon.
We kick Wednesday off with seated exercise class with Gfitness. We’ll follow up with a Quiz after lunch.
On Thursday we’ll start with a documentary before welcoming back our ‘littles’ from Kids Planet Poulton.
We round up our week with Karl’s Art Class, and some baking in the afternoon.

We had lots of fun yesterday with our ‘Littles’ from Kids Planet Poulton.

They’re really starting to come out of their shells now, and our residents loved spending time chatting, playing, and sharing stories with the children. It’s safe to say the visit left a lot of happy hearts behind. ❤️
Moments like these remind us how powerful connection across generations can be.

Good morning everyone, we hope you enjoyed your weekend!
We start our week with a really interesting day. Yesterday was International Women’s Day, so we’ll start by watching a Documentary 📺 on “Women who changed the world”, and this afternoon we’ll be trying an activity called “Her Story” where we’ll discuss what life was like for them growing up as Women 💖
Tomorrow we’ll begin with Dominoes, and then Janet’s back to sing and entertain 🎙️
On Wednesday it’s a morning of Flower Arranging 💐, but we’ll be back after lunch with our weekly quiz ⁉️
It’s Bingo on Thursday morning 2️⃣5️⃣ as we play for life-changing prizes, then our ‘littles’ from Kids Planet Poulton are coming to visit for the afternoon! 👦 👧
On Friday Karl leads our 🎨 Art Class, and following some good ol’ 🎣& 🍟 we’ll have a seated exercise class led by Sonia 🏋️‍♀️

Earlier in the week we had Jamie from Gfitness with us for a seated exercise class.
Jamie brings something new every time, keeping everyone engaged and interested the whole time. 🤸‍♀️🏋️💪

Several businesses were decimated by the ferocious fire which ripped through Waterloo Road in Blackpool

Sometimes things don’t go to plan, and the activity we’d scheduled isn’t what everyone wants to do. 🏓
The solution is simple, we adapt. All of our activities here are optional, and this afternoon the residents sent me packing, asking for a more relaxing Andre Rieu Concert.

Sorry for the late post!

We’re already halfway through a busy week, but this morning we have Jamie from Gfitness with us for games and exercise. 💪
We’ll follow lunch with a Quiz and also Bev our hairdresser 💇‍♀️ is in the salon all day.
Tomorrow we start the day with Bingo, and we’ll have some fun with Beanbag Baskets 🤾 in the afternoon.
Karl leads the Art Class on Friday morning, then we round up the week with Table Tennis🏓
