✨ Giving Back Through Cricket ✨

We’re proud to announce our new partnership with Myerscough Cricket College! 🏏

Last week, our chiropractors spent time with the student athletes, carrying out a series of spinal and movement assessments designed to educate and help prevent injuries before they happen.

The tests looked at key areas such as:

🔹 Pronation (flat feet) – a major factor in knee, hip, and back strain

🔹 Range of Motion – spotting spinal stiffness that forces compensation

🔹 Motion Palpation – identifying stress in the vertebrae that can disrupt brain-body communication

🔹 Balance – assessing how well the nervous system is coordinating movement

🔹 Grip Strength – measuring nerve efficiency and recovery capacity

🔹 Posture – revealing compensations that increase injury risk

👉 Results showed that 90% of athletes tested had significant pronation, which can impact performance and increase risk of injuries from the ground up.

By sharing this knowledge with the cricket college, our mission is to empower young athletes to understand their bodies better, prevent avoidable injuries, and maximise their performance.

This is just the beginning of our journey with Myerscough Cricket College—and we’re excited to keep supporting the next generation of athletes! 💪🏽🙌🏽
