Job Description

Salary £10.50 - £11.00 per hour plus additional sleep in allowances

This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding organisation as the Residential Childcare Worker in one of our children's homes.

As our Residential Childcare Worker you will deliver a sensitive and nurturing recovery focus approach to Children and Young People aged between 10-19 years of age who have experienced adverse childhood and experiences and present with behaviours which challenge.

The role requires you to promote a restorative culture and utilise skills of a trauma informed approached to meet the support needs of the individual children’s’ social, psychological, behavioural cultural and educational needs.

It is important for this role to have a positive attitude towards working with young people, and have a flexible approach to work as you will be required to complete sleep-ins which you will receive additional pay for.

Essential criteria:
