Happy International Nurses Day 👩🏻‍⚕️

Throwback to little me—dressed as a nurse (with a witch’s hat for good measure!). Maybe I didn’t know it then, but the heart to care and make a difference was already there.

Not many people are aware that I left school with minimal qualifications, but I went back into education, pushed through, and eventually made it to university—the first in my family to do so.

Training in the NHS taught me what it truly means to care with compassion, dignity, and purpose.

Although most of my career has been in aesthetics and the private sector, those NHS values have never left me. I’m still driven by the same mission: to care, to be ethical, to make a difference—just in my own way.

I’m in awe of the NHS and every nurse out there, especially my amazing colleagues past and present who continue to go above and beyond every day.

Thank you. Today, we celebrate you.

Thank you so much for keeping me busy and continuing to support and recommend my small business – it truly means the world to me!

This is just a polite reminder that, like many other parents, the school holidays can be a bit of a juggling act. Both my partner and I run our own businesses, which gives us some flexibility, but we still have to balance work, life, and the kids!

With that in mind, I’m kindly asking all my lovely clients to please be organised and get your summer appointments booked in early. My working hours will be slightly reduced to fit around school clubs and family time.
But if there is a specific time or day you need please do message me and if I can accommodate I will.
