I have long admired Juliana Hounsfield’s work at The Family Practice in Bristol, and particularly her focus on Women’s Health (working with postnatal, post-hysterectomy and post-surgical patients).

Juliana has now joined the medical humanitarian expedition to Kenya, where she will be treating women and children who have suffered the devastating effects of female ge***al mutilation (FGM).

One of the Divinity Foundation’s core missions is to end FGM - a harmful and traumatic practice affecting countless girls and women. FGM is internationally recognised as a violation of human rights, often performed on minors and leading to long-term physical and psychological harm. The Foundation works tirelessly to rescue girls at risk and support survivors through medical, emotional, and educational care.

I have admired Juliana’s work at The Family Practice in Bristol for years and particularly her focus on Women’s Health (working with postnatal, post-hysterectomy and post-surgical patients). She has a brilliant team of practitioners, some of whom I had the joy of teaching Gua Sha Face Massage to recently.

Juliana has offered us the opportunity to connect with her work through the Divinity Foundation (https://www.divinityfoundation.com), an NGO in Kenya that is dedicated to helping women and girls who have experienced FGM.

We are so proud that Juliana is a big fan of our Scar Oil and now this product can support the the incredible work of the Divinity Foundation.
