💅🏻 Toenail Reconstruction by the incredible Helen!

🙌 If you have damaged toenails & need a temporary fix before an event or a holiday - this the perfect solution!

👣 How does it work? Well, we apply a special gel to the nail bed or an existing damaged nail. This gets applied in layers to build thickness, and is colour matched to your existing nails!

✨ We then cure this under UV light to form a durable cosmetic nail that should last around a month! Whilst this isn’t a permanent solution - it’s the ideal short term solution for any immediate plans where you want your feet to look their best!

👣 Let’s be clear - that anxiety around coming to see a podiatrist for the first time is totally normal!

😖 Not only because of the idea of going into an unknown medical environment - but also because people have a stigma attached to their feet. Shame? Disgust?

🦷 It’s similar, we think, to how people feel about the dentist. However, the entire country knows from a young age what happens if you avoid the dentist for years & let pain get worse.

✅ And we really want to make visiting your Podiatrist as normal and natural as visiting your dentist (with much less drilling - don’t worry) 😉

🚲 Last week, Adam Smith Podiatry & Sports Clinic had a very special visitor in the form of Stephen Campbell - also known as Jaffa Man Cycle the World!

💪 It has been Stephen’s mission to walk and cycle the world between 2021 & 2031 - aiming of 100,000km of cycling in total, all in the name of homelessness!

🚶‍♀️ He is currently walking from Glasgow to Southampton - a whopping 539 miles - where he’ll then cycle back to Liverpool!

💚 The team here at Adam Smith Podiatry were only too glad to chat to Stephen for a bit & offer our support!
