💬 Do our treatments hurt?

👣 We wouldn’t say anything we do is outright painful - but there are treatments, like Shockwave, that can produce an uncomfortable sensation.

⚡️ Treatments like Shockwave can be adjusted to the patients tolerance levels - whilst there are other treatments where you’ll be given a local anaesthetic for comfort levels

⭐️ Your safety & comfort is always a top priority here in clinic - so please let us know if we can do anything to make your experience easier!

👣 At Adam Smith Podiatry & Sports Clinic - we see all sorts of Verrucae…daily! So we’ve gotten extremely good at treating them effectively!

⬇️ We have several treatment options available to us! Only after a thorough assessment will we be able to decide which one gives us the best chance of eradicating your Verruca!

▫️SWIFT - This is, typically, our most effective treatment. We use targeted microwave energy to stimulate your immune system to fight the virus and encourage faster lesion resolution.

▫️Verruca Needling - for verrucae that haven’t responded to other treatments. The aim is to physically disrupt your verruca with a fine needle & trigger an immune response.

▫️Surgery - we are one of a very small number of podiatry clinics to offer Specialist Verruca Excision when everything else has failed & a direct removal is clinically needed.

⭐️ We also offer other supportive & topical remedies that can be used alone or combined with your treatment. If necessary - we’ll discuss this in clinic!

❌ There is no 100% cure for Verrucae
