From 1st October 2025 you will need to order your repeat prescription from your GP – not through your local pharmacy.

The NHS App is the safest and easiest way for you to request your repeat prescription. Ordering through the app will give you more control over your own healthcare and save you a trip to the GP practice.

Norovirus is a stomach bug that causes diarrhoea and vomiting.

Cases of norovirus are higher than normal at the moment. Despite being known as a 'winter bug', it can spread all year round. And in this hot weather it’s especially important to stay hydrated.

Temperatures are set to reach 30° this weekend across the country, so don’t look back in anger— remember to wear sunscreen.

Sunburn increases your risk of skin cancer, and you can burn even when it’s cloudy.

Make sure you:

- slide away into the shade between 11am and 3pm

- cover up with suitable clothing – some might say wear a bucket hat

- be a rock ’n’ roll star and use at least a factor 30 sunscreen
