The seventh bi-annual Glasgow Blues Rhythm & Rock Festival takes place at the Oran Mor on November.
As has been the local acts impetus of previous festivals, the line-up includes three Scottish bands – Glasgow based up & comers Kelowna will open the show, and there are welcome returns for both Bison Hip and the Greig Taylor Band.
Also appearing are Mick McConnell & Blue Thunder.
Lead guitarist of Smokie these last thirty years, Mick released his debut album 'My Kinda Heaven' in 2011; his second album 'Under My Skin,' recorded in Nashville, was released in 2017.
Special Guest Will Wilde has taken the harmonica way beyond its blues roots since first emerging on the scene in 2010.
Later releases such as 'Bring It On Home' were impacting, harmonica driven blues rock but latest album 'Blues Is Still Alive' is his biggest and boldest statement to date.
Over the course of her noted career headliner Deborah Bonham has established herself as one of the finest blues, rock and soul singers in the UK.
A string of critically acclaimed albums, collaborations and captivating concert performances, have all garnered glowing reviews, including recent album 'Bonham-Bullick,' an inspiring mix of classic and contemporary compositions spanning seven decades.
The Glasgow Blues Rhythm & Rock Festival takes place on Sunday November at the Oran Mor, with a start time of 2pm and end time of 10pm.
