Prudhoe Community Partnership is delighted to announce a new opportunity for someone passionate about community work to join our team as a Community Development Coordinator.

This brand-new part-time role (10 hours per week) will be at the heart of supporting and strengthening voluntary and community action across Prudhoe. From helping to run the Prudhoe Community Hub to supporting a range of local initiatives, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a people-focused, purpose-driven environment.
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated individual who
understands community development, is confident working with both voluntary sector organisations and public bodies, and enjoys the challenges and rewards of working in a small, local charity. The East Development and The Glade Development

This is a chance for you to have YOUR say on the plans for these two major Prudhoe projects. Public consultation – Prudhoe Library and the Community Hub

The East Development looks at building a nearly new Youth and Community Centre with facilities for young people supported by the Prudhoe Youth project; Open Spaces; offices; workshop; 3 flats; retail space

The Glade Development looks at redesigning to area to include a covered performance space and storage, covered market space, green areas, seating areas

The funding comes from the Government Borderlands £3m allocation to Prudhoe along with other significant grants. The Project is overseen by Prudhoe Community Partnership and supported by Northumberland Town Council and Prudhoe Town Council involving a number of community groups.
