Play is more than fun — it’s a child’s first language. Through play, children express feelings, worries, hopes and stories that they may not yet have the words for.
When we pause to listen and join them in their play, we are stepping into their world. We begin to understand what matters to them, how they see themselves, and what they may be struggling to put into words.
Therapy with children often begins here — in the unspoken spaces of play, where imagination becomes the bridge to understanding.
