Jayne Ross’ reaction speaks volumes as she is called forwards astride KBF Lucia – or “Poppy” as she’s known at home – as the supreme champion horse at Horse of the Year Show 2025. This was Jayne’s eighth overall supreme at HOYS, and although there have been coloured horses crowned supreme before, the pair made history as the first supreme champion to have graduated directly from the coloured horse or pony championship. Come on everyone - today is the LAST DAY YOU CAN VOTE for the beautiful KBF Lucia, AKA Poppy who is shortlisted for the Horse & Hound SHOW HORSE OF THE YEAR 2025!

Poppy won overall supreme at this year’s Horse of the Year Show, and has won five times as either a coloured horse or a ladies’ show horse at HOYS.

She is such a special horse in the ring and at home and deserves this accolade! Well done Jayne Ross, Team Ross and Diane Stennett and Lucy Cameron her owners.
