A lovely client brought us her spare air filter today – thank you! ā˜ŗļø

We use air purifiers in the clinic to help keep the environment clean and comfortable during treatments.

As hay fever season approaches, if you usually suffer at this time of year, it may be worth investing in one for better sleep and relief at home.

You are also welcome to book an appointment to see how we can help you feel more comfortable and enjoy the season a little more 🌿

Soaking up spring at Keukenhof Gardens 🌷

Wandering through one of Europe’s biggest tulip farms just outside Amsterdam, surrounded by endless waves of colour, felt like the perfect reminder of something simple but easy to forget, the importance of balancing work and rest.

Inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine, it’s all about harmony. We can’t keep pouring the Yang energy out without taking time to recharge the Yin. Just like nature moves through seasons, we need moments to pause, reset, and let inspiration find us again 🌿

Today was about slowing down, breathing it all in, and letting the colours of spring do their thing 🌸

Because sometimes the best ideas don’t come when we’re pushing , they come when we finally give ourselves space to observe, reflect and understand.

Watching my tulips open and close with the temperature reminded me of something simple…

Nature adapts, and so should we.

Cool mornings, warm afternoons, chilly evenings…

Dress in layers, protect your body, and move with the rhythm of the day.

A gentle way to support your health this season 🌿

This article in The Guardian made me chuckle today. It’s true, the younger generation are surprisingly informed about Chinese Medicine nowadays.

Last week I saw a young lady in her 20s, and when I started giving my usual dietary advice (drink warm water!), she stopped me straight away and said she completely understood it as she had been learning a lot through social media.

It’s so refreshing to communicate so easily with the younger generation, seeing them take on advice and notice improvements quickly. Here’s one positive side of social media! šŸ›œ

Watching my mum care for her patients as I was growing up is what first inspired me to step into this profession. Seeing her compassion, dedication, and the difference she made in people’s lives showed me what it truly means to care for others.

Thank you Mum, for introducing me to a career that brings me so much joy and purpose every day. Your example continues to guide and inspire me.

To all the mums who work tirelessly, lead by example, and show us the true meaning of hard work and compassion. Happy Mother’s Day. šŸ’šŸ’—

Male fertility matters too.

šŸ® Today is the Yuan Xiao Festival (Lantern Festival), marking the final day of Chinese New Year celebrations.

On this special day, families traditionally eat Tang Yuan (glutinous rice balls with sweet fillings). Their round shape symbolises family harmony, happiness, and lasting unity.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, food is not only nourishment but also a way to maintain balance. As glutinous rice can feel heavy on digestion for some, it is often enjoyed with warm tea, fragrant osmanthus (Gui Hu), and aged tangerine peel (Chen Pi).

Osmanthus and Chen Pi are especially beneficial for those experiencing Qi stagnation, helping to gently regulate circulation, ease tension, and support both digestion and emotional wellbeing.

Wishing you all happiness, harmony, and togetherness šŸŒ•āœØ
