Takeaways from our team for Care Show London 2026:
Christina reflected on the importance of strengthening capacity assessments and continuing to improve end of life support, ensuring care remains compassionate and appropriate.
Taylor highlighted how systems are evolving, with check-ins becoming more than just monitoring, helping us better understand and respond to each individual’s needs.
Mia focused on the importance of open communication and involvement, making sure clients and families feel informed, supported and connected at every stage.
Bonnie’s perspective centred around leadership and standards. With changes to CQC and the growing role of AI, she emphasised the importance of strong, values-led leadership to guide teams through change.
Some of the most valuable insights came from conversations. Ty shared how retention is often more important than recruitment, and that word of mouth can be more effective than job boards. Mia reflected on the importance of supporting people through grief with empathy and understanding, while Taylor took insight from conversations around nutrition and the importance of helping people eat well, not just telling them to. Bonnie also reinforced the role of leadership in setting the tone, creating environments where teams feel supported, valued and able to deliver the highest standard of care.
It’s these real reflections from the team that shape how we continue to improve the care we provide every day, and we can’t wait to put this learning into practice.
