Brothers wanting their ears checked and cleared of wax!! Full of dirt and wax following years of building work! 👂🏻
Walking boots were the appropriate attire…🥾
Don’t worry we had access to water, power and a clean room to complete our wax removal and consultations!

I’ve got something new to share… 👀

My brother and I have created an app called Village Boards that maps local community notice boards 📍

As small business owners, we know how frustrating it is trying to find places to put flyers — driving around, guessing, missing good spots… so we decided to build something to make it easier.

The app shows you nearby notice boards and you can also add new ones to help others 🙌

We’re initially piloting it across Leicestershire, with the aim of building it up county by county.

It’s completely free to use — we’d just love people to try it and let us know what you think.

‼️I visited a client this week who’d already tried to remove their ear wax at home using irrigation and suction equipment from Amazon … but it just hadn’t worked.‼️

The wax was still there after a few attempts.

I understand why people try these kits, they seem like a quick and cheaper option, but more often than not they’re just not effective and can end up pushing the wax further in — meaning you still need it professionally removed anyway. They can also be dangerous and do damage.❌❌

Ears are delicate, it’s not something to be guessing with.👂🏻

Please think twice before going DIY 💛

This is something I’m often trusted with, letting myself in to help clients in the comfort of their own home. It’s a big thing to allow someone into your space, and I never take that lightly. ✨

With years of experience as a community matron, working in people’s homes has always been part of what I do. Respect, professionalism and trust are everything. ❤️

Many of my clients use key safes, some have dogs (which I’m always happy to say hello to 🐾), and some just prefer the ease of staying comfy while I take care of their ear care. 👂🏻
