Had a good chat with a client this week, and it genuinely made me wonder.

The next generation of sports people have so much quality access (compared to 10 years ago) to maximise their performance and increase their longevity.

I think if I or who I spent my Saturday & Sundays football with took recovery and preparation more seriously, we’d be in so much better shape in our later years!

A common question i’m asked “do you go for a massage?” And the answer is yes I do. My body has to stay on top and pain free to make sure SW Sports Therapy carries on being a success.

Little freshen up 🎨

I am always thinking of ways to provide the best experience in my massage room.

I always wanted pictures of the players and what we achieved and then I realised took a lot of them so I added the ones with my board in the background. Also from our charity game in May.

A BUSY FEW WEEKS!

A couple of weeks ago I was at offering sports massage and cupping to players across the 4 teams they have.

Last night I was called in for to cover physio for their first game of the season away at Daventry in the United Counties League Step 5.

I would like to thank both clubs, your players, staff and committee - you welcomed me on both evenings. I am really grateful for the experiences and meeting you all. I wish you both all the best for the season 🏏 ⚽️

Last slide: Last Friday evening I suffered a slight freak injury playing football 🤦🏻‍♂️ I have unfortunately fractured my big toe and strained all the ligaments. I won’t show you the damage but I will show you the lovely boot I have been given from the consultant on Saturday night at the Royal! It’s been a week so far and still waiting for the bruising to come out, but maybe it’s time to retire from football 😂

It's because we love the game right?

I'm going to be honest, we play through pain and niggles like it's normal. Football is more than a marathon, pre season seems to fly around quick and players can fall short. Whether it's now, in the winter or the vital run in towards the end.

I'm here to help, I have worked with footballers whether it be playing Sunday League to playing part time non league football. We all choose to do this year after year, so why not this summer, get your body feeling good?
